Both teams defending aggressively and well but Aces ball movement is crisper and they're able to dribble penetrate and either get layups or draw defenders in and kick out.

Should be a bigger lead but there is a maintained lead.

Really not sure who this benefits and that's part of what makes this a good game.

It's kind of a double edged sword. The Liberty want to stretch out their opponents defense, because they aren't a monster driving team. They need all the space they can generate. So you want them shooting enough to get the defense panicking and scrambling around. The Aces are simply doing a good job managing the perimeter shooting without breaking their defensive shell.

Aces can space but they have more ways to puncture you. A'ja might not have Stewie's versatility and skill level, but man is she ever more forceful with how she attack the defense. Chelsea and Kelsey can open some puncture wounds of their own, and even Jackie Young can get to her floater game and kill you.

If New York is going to crack this defense, they'll need those 3s. They just aren't opening stuff up with the 3 like we've seen them do before. Right now it's 3s and Jonquel and nothing in between. Will it be enough?

New York runs too much 5 out. Las Vegas getting better shots and more reliable looks

It's the gameplan Aces are betting on. Look how much space they give 3s shooters. Hammon gets pissed when they switch on JJ inside and that's about it. No respect for the outside shot until they're forced to adjust to it. Banking on NY beating themselves.
