Simmons can’t be good everytime to most times, but he can be good on a certain level of intensity and level of opponent. I like him playing off the bench playing the GP2 role for the Warriors where I can throw curve balls against other teams because of his versatility. But I can also hide him when he starts hurting my team.

“2024 Philly Supermax” played very well today on both ends.

Bamba looked so bad out there. So bad that Bamba is getting his PT taken by Petrusev.

How is Springer playing. I’ve been out of town for these games but his numbers look promising. Would love it if he takes the bulk of the backup 1/2 minutes. Especially if he’s figured out his three ball.

It's preseason. I take nothing away from these games. As awful as Bamba looks, he may look completely different and capable in the regular season.

Paul Reed's jumper is looking like the best version of Paul Reed's jumper at the moment.

Just watched Springer’s highlights. He’s the second best guard on this team if you don’t count Harden. Should play 25+ mpg this season or we’re just messing around this season. Plays within himself as an off ball player who can create his offense while also being the best defensive player on the team; that’s perfect for this team.

I would start him next to Maxey, but our wily GM may not do that so we can resign him for a bargain rate next summer. Then let him really breakout after that.

Bumba and capable don't belong in the same sentence.

His 3pt shooting looked like it is very much improved. Currently looking like a 35+% 3pt shooter.

We run a lot of 3 guard unit where we force defenders to go through an obstacle course of swipers which allows guys like Springer, Melton, Maxey and Oubre to get their deflections.

So far, what I like the best about Springer is he plays within his role and has been very solid and consistent. Not saying in terms of purely play style, but he reminds me of a young Marcus Smart.

Oubre, Danny Green, Pat Bev and Springer have all been better than what Ive expected them to be.

Maxey looks like he’s intentionally not playing on his extra gear yet, so I think he’d be much better to what he is already is during the first 3 games. I also expect him to sit out the next game, but who knows.

I dont see much improvement from Reed. Offensively, I still wouldnt ask him to take those jumpers with better options on offense. Defensively, he is better as a PF to me specially against that Celts double big frontcourt.

Still have my doubts on Springer but it won’t be from lack of effort or ethics. Great kid hope I’m wrong I just don’t see the class factor.

Oubre has 2 cents for a brain and we have Tobias well, gonna be a long year lol

Look like Maxey a lot but it’s not pretty if he goes full time on ball duties.

I don't see how you could have him over Melton. Melton's the 4th best player on the team (minus Harden).

No Harden should mean he'll get an opportunity, though simultaneously you'd think Harden's the exact kind of big, ball dominant playmaker that he'd fit best with as basically a forward with guard size.

With the lack of ball handlers I don't know if he gets the rotational nod initially over Pat Bev, and with the lack of wings I don't know that he gets the nod over Oubre.

I'd love to see him get 15-20 mpg early to see what he can do with it.

I have him pretty easily over Melton, tbh, as Deanthony is fairly one dimensional on offense while providing a comparable effect on defense. Springer creates offense off the dribble and is pretty elite at the rim. If his shot is real, then he’s easily passed Melton. The only thing Melton will have on him is volume shooting, which we have a few guys already willing to do that. In fact, once Harden is gone, Springer is like one of two guys on the team that can create off the dribble decently.
