I think it’s very fair to have concern. Reports that Dame didn’t stay in shape over the summer or practice much is kind of an important piece, and when you’re getting paid as much as he is and creating this drama it’s not a good look for him, the NBA and could be concerning for the Bucks. Hope he gets back in shape soon, might be ok for a bit just because of his gravity but if the opposition starts to sniff he is no longer lethal we’re cooked in terms of championship prospects.

A bunch of new players, new coaching staff and new schemes. It was always going to take time for the team to gel. Our starters haven't even played one minute together.
So yeah I think to be concerned in the preseason is odd. Even into the regular season. If we get to December and the team hasn't gelled I'll be concerned.

How Griffin manages the 7-10 spots in the rotation is going to be super interesting. No one really standing out yet.
Will need to be talked into this team being above average defensively this season. Big task for Griffin and his coaching staff.

Marjon was awesome in game 3.
Surround Dre with shooters, he needs to attack the rim and drive kick.drone3 wrote:Would like to see this rotation for the second unit

Marjon was awesome in game 3.
He was the only player with a negative plus/minus. I'm not sure that is the definition of awesome.

Giannis initiating the offense and occupying Dame's area of expertise at the top of the key needs to be put to the Bud's Random Basketball graveyard. Giannis needs to set screens correctly and clean the space fast for Dame to operate. Either dive hard to the paint or clear away from Dame fast. For example I saw Giannis setting a pick, defense switches and Giannis just stopped at the 3, not clearing the space and ball watched Dame... Dame on the other hand from Giannis not clearing the space was basically denied his right hand drive... which led to a contested of pace 3 miss. Point Giannis needs to be brought down to 10%. Dame isn't a wing guard, he operates at the top of the key. Running the wing and taking the ball curling with an off hand pass is a Middleton & others no handles play. We are not treating Dame well on offense, we need to fix this asap.
It starts with Giannis ...
Giannis let Dame be Dame and you run the wing
