We're officially at "Dame Body Language Watch" in preseason which means it's time for some of you sickos to go outside while the weather's still warm enough.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some growing pains this year between adding Dame & having a new coach, they're learning a new system and how to play with each other which might not be instantaneous. I believe in the talent enough and it still being a pretty familiar system that they'll gel pretty quickly.

Is there a difference between body language and being in shape? I'm not concerned about the body language, when the playoffs are here he is going want to win.

I just get concerned when small guards over 30 decide to play themselves into shape. Chance of never getting fully back in shape, chance of injury, more missed games, etc. We have the guy for a 1/4 billion contract and he needs to be fully healthy the next 2 years to make the gamble worth it.

This is where I'm at. Slow start, then picking up steam.

I always find it interesting that people accuse Giannis of being dumb because he sometimes plays PG without ever presenting a stat that shows this is ineffective.

It's pretty concerning though that we ran our Day 1 starting lineup out there and still got destroyed by the Thunder

People would probably lose their minds when you show them that Giannis is a better pick & roll ball-handler than Trae Young and Tyrese Haliburton by the numbers.

I don’t have much to take away from this game other than Dre still being the GOAT. Only other thing is RoLo having a roster spot is really lame. Like the guy but he has no business being on this roster.

Was at the game. Happy to see so much Giannis and Dame, very unexpected.

Dame looked super rusty and Giannis, while a good box score, looked rusty too. Thanasis actually looked decent and would have had a very nice game if he didn't blow those 2 layups. Based on the LOB pod, Dame kind of sucks in the preseason, but I think it'll take a week or two for him to be his normal self.

Marjon was up/down. Would look good off the bounce then lose the ball.

AJJ is definitely a player. I'd expect him to have a decent sized role by the end of the year.

Rolo is really bad, we should be looking elsewhere for backup C minutes should Brook ever get injured.

Offense was kind of ugly outside of the Malik open looks.

If this board could be transported to the Bronx in 1927, what complaints there would be about Ray Morehart and Joe Dugan being in the lineup.

Look up Dame's last 5 preseasons and all your worries will go away. Like others have said, growing pains will come.

I remember the big 3 heat started 8-8 or something like that. Then went to the finals.

The Bucks went 0-3 and lost all 3 by double digits in 2020-21 in the preseason
