jets doing it the right way finally..took lots of pain but the people in charge are professionals. hate the zach stuff though. We should clearly go after Tannehil or Cousins until Rodgers is ready. Wilson only holds this team back.

I agree about going after Tannehil or Cousins but forget about Rodgers. He'll be 41 next season coming off this Achilles tear. The Jets should move on. If he wants to be the QB coach, then maybe that.

Jets are laughably - and I mean LAUGHABLY - bad coming off their bye week in recent years, no matter HOW good they look heading into it.

Just last year they went into their bye week after defeating the Bills, who many considered the best team in the league and Super Bowl favorite at the time, 20-17. They had the whole league, national media and all, saying, damn, this team is young, talented, hungry, and can real get after it. This unexpected victory over a top team shows they have a chance to do something this season.

They came out of the bye and lost 10-3 to the Patriots.

In 2021 they started off horrifically, won an OT game against a good Titans team, and then lost by a TD to the Falcons heading into their bye.

They came out and lost to the Pats 54-13.

In fact, I believe they currently have a 7 game losing streak coming out of their bye. The last time they won was in 2015.

Imagine this: In back-to-back games Zach Wilson snaps the Jets winless streak against Philly AND bye-week losing streak...You coulda given me 1000 to 1 odds on that before the season and I probably wouldn't have risked 5 bucks on it.

Awesome to be 3-3 and have the season very much alive. However it won't last long if they can't fix this red zone offense.

Somehow our season outlook got a whole lot better by not playing this weekend :lol:

1 Game behind the Bills. 1 game in the loss column behind the Phins. Softer part of our schedule coming up with the team hopefully healthier over the bye week. 2 games against the Dolphins and 1 game against the Bills may define our season. You go 2-1 in that stretch and you can really start thinking about taking the division. Especially if Rodgers crazy azz finds his way back...

Jets will wind up losing to Giants 10-7. They've managed to get your hopes up. Now is the time they crush your soul.

Extra win also moves Giants back in the draft, so sorrow all around.
