I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Isaiah Roby has never not been available.

Dame > Payne > TyTy is more than enough at PG, why keep Wigginton over guys who could develop?

Tyty pushed these other guys down the rank. Much prefer Tyty over Gort or Omari. Wigginton needs to go. The 2w spots should be Tyty, large wing and C.

Gortman looked pretty quick

I'm hoping they just need him to get through the final preseason game

Not sure where things went wrong in the process but weird to sign guys and never play them in any games (both summer league and preseason). I guess practice is super meaningful? but hard to find diamonds in the rough like Miami consistently do when you're not giving dudes chances to shine.

Thought we might’ve had something with Gortman but guess he didn’t look good in training camp at all, same for the others. The Wigginton love by this organization remains puzzling but whatever.

Dre, TyTy, MarJon, Livingston is still a solid group of young guys to develop while contending. I think at least 2 of them will pop as real rotation guys.

The only thing that makes sense with wiggles is that they know he's capable of playing a few minutes when necessary and he's incredibly low maintenance so he's kind of the emergency pg. Which in that case, whatever.

I liked the Moore signing, but it became evident quickly in Summer League that Moores poor performance in the Combine Scrimmages wasn't a fluke. I hope they land anyone useful, but I'm not confident.

Gortman is raw, but I'm excited to watch him develop with the Herd. Good chance we'll see him in Milwaukee again some day.

lol.. yeah i dont know about that. i'm thinking it's 60/40 that we get one guy from that group (only because of Dre), and way way less than that that we get two (or more).

I'd use the open 2 way contract on Harry Giles if Brooklyn doesn't keep him. He's eligible for a 2 way deal under the new CBA, and has had a strong camp. Unfortunately, I think they keep him.

Should’ve signed Jay Huff when they had the chance.

But he’s no more capable of eating a few minutes than any random g-leaguer. And offers no upside at all.

Huff would be their second best center (Giannis and Bobby are PFs).
