For me I just don't want him up top initiating and/or dribbling an offense. Off the ball Jaylen >>> on the ball Jaylen for me all day every day.

Coaches need to enforce this. It's that simple for me.

JB is not Klay Thompson. He's not just some off ball, catch and shoot Joe Harris, Duncan Robinson, Sam Hauser type of guy.

Does he sometimes get tunnel vision and/or make poor decisions with the ball? Yes, every player does. No player is perfect. But it is a huge weapon for us to have 2 wings on the same team who can handle the ball, create their own shot, get to the rim, shoot 3's and both have good size and athleticism.

WOW. So off the ball means just shooting??? and the comparison to players who basically only shoot shows a limited view of what "off the ball means"

Players can move and/or catch and shoot it.. They can also "recreate" with "rip Moves" Players can far more easily take one or 2 dribbles and get to the rim than let's say ISOing and taking multiple dribbles which Jaylen often does. The players you just compared Brown with a far more one dimensional. There are so many more "Gray" areas with off the ball movement than the Black and White type of description you suggested. That and without looking I am sure Brown's catch and shoot 3s are of better efficiency than any over dribble ISO 3 pointers he does.

Jaylen’s handle is meh, but it’s his decision making. It’s always been about the decision making.

The game will be so much easier for him if he just plays within the offense more often. There was some flashes of making the right read last night, IMO. He’s never going to be a guy who consistently processes the defense, so having someone as massive and skilled as Porzingis is a really nice safety valve for him.

I have a sneaking suspicion he's not new here haha.

It's a fandom crime to wish for your team to get better by suggesting they limit one of their top players' weaknesses and accentuating his strengths.

I’m missing where everyone doesn’t want Brown to get better. Even his biggest supporters want him to get better, even if they want it just to rub it in.

Pretend it’s about people thinking every critique is hate, but most of the time when hating is mentioned it’s by the people who bring up his weaknesses the most. It’s dressed differently but it’s basically doing the same thing you’re accusing others of doing. If you can bring up his weaknesses someone else can debate it with you. You say someone is calling you a hater to stave off debate and of course to pull in the rest of the crew that feels hit.

I decided I’m not even going to argue with anyone much over Brown anymore, I’ll disagree with comments now and then but I’m not going to worry about it like I used to because his check, accolades, and peers speak for him enough.

Well, I will be speaking to Joe and the coaches in the comments because they just let Brown’s weakness shine, seemingly without guidance.

The Celtics generate a lot of easy looks. Tatum/KP/Brown are going to eat if they constantly that open and Tatum might lead the league in scoring.

So, if anyone of the Starting 5 is Out, then Horford Starts?
He'll basically probably log enough Starting minutes, to be considered a 6th Starter?

I for one don't have the energy to debate so I'll just continue with my passive aggressive jabs. Not replying to anyone who goes against my opinions. And people can just go ahead and put me on ignore. Love y'all though.

Perhaps that is the way they go,.. I would rather sneak in a role player, And keep a similar rotation if possible...

That’s how he broke his wrist and had to miss the Nets series.

That’s why he doesn’t dunk as much anymore.

Deni would be a nice addition to the Celtics and get him away from Jordan Poole...

When I first saw this I LOLed.. Then I looked at the Box-score. And Yes Poole went off.. 41 points.. Deni went 1-4 .. But then I noticed Muscala going off for 20 points with a 5 for 7 from 3..

So changing course I want Muscala back.. Moose > Kornet.. Imagine Moose getting the wide open looks with this roster.. Those already wide open lanes for the Js and company would be even bigger with Moose.

Make it happen Brad!!

Yea pretty much. Too often he plays like he wants to get his. I was hoping he'd play more within himself and within the offense but he looked like the same guy he's been for a few years now.
