Remember Kendall Marshall? Just reminded me of him when I watched Podziemski

KPJ just had one of three charges dropped and declined to take a plea deal. If he gets the other two dropped, I wonder who the first team to call will be. There’s likely still interest in a 6’5 G who averaged 20, 5 and 5 last year.

KPJ will be a FA. And he will get signed if the other charges get dropped.

Nah, I think this is probably strike 3 for KPJ. Suspended at USC, malcontent in Cleveland, and now domestic violence charges in Houston.

Charlotte is already getting burned by taking Bridges back now that he’s violating his restraining order. Doubt someone will want to take a risk on KPJ at this stage.

I want Pritchard so badly (couple of seasons now). Down year last season, but a lot of it is not his fault. Smart and Brogdon gone he’s set for a good year.

Looked excellent against us

Why? For getting picks instead of cutting guys outright?

Good vegas bet to win the championship.

Bet on Warriors +1200 then hedge it with Celtics +400? Another one is PHO +600 then hedge it with Celtics +400

What do you guys think?

It will be tough for Nuggets to win back to back. I dont like what im seeing with the Bucks, I think they’re too predictable. PHO is predictable but their offense is OP, it’s just I dont think their defense can be elite.

I find Warriors to be undervalued. They just won it on the prior year. They have size to match-up with Wiggins, Draymond and Looney. But Warriors would need Kuminga to step up on the scoring loss of Poole

That pick selected from the MCW trade is now a FA

For making a move to horde more picks rather than starting to look for that trade that gets them a dude.

Keep in mind over the next 7 drafts they have potential ownership in:
14 1sts
16 2nds

Who says he's not looking for that trade? It's not like there are stars demanding trades to Oklahoma City.

So you can only trade for anyone if they demand to go to you?

No teams are trading stars unless they ask out. Even if they should because that star is a choker and has shrunk in the playoffs over and over again.

You already know this, but for the most part stars only get moved if they demand a trade. After that demand, they make a list of places they are willing to get traded to and that team honors the request. That's just how NBA player movement works. Exceptions are when players are in the last year of their deal or they're pseudo-stars on bad value contracts.

So Presti could trade for Harden, I guess. But he doesn't want to be there and he's a FA at the end of the year. He could trade for Lavine, I guess. But he's not a real star and on a bad, long-term deal. He could target a player who isn't in trade rumours, I guess. But that would eliminate any leverage he would have and necessitate an overpay, like the Wolves did with Gobert. Would you want him to trade multiple firsts for Siakam, a free agent after the season? Hope that New Orleans has given up on Ingram or Zion?

I don't know. Those don't seem like good options to me.
