Shouldn't have anyone on the roster that has no chance now or in the future to play a meaningful NBA minute. Thanasis and RoLo have extenuating circumstances but they shouldn't be on the roster either

I'd still argue Thanasis is better than a lot of other 15th guys. But yea, he has no future to play meaningful minutes.

Jay Huff, Nathan Knight, Neemius Queta, Harry Giles. All bigs we could have used on 2 way deals.

And Usman Garuba. :banghead:

Still like the idea of adding Roby, but just can't see us waiving anyone to make room for him. Similarly would like to pry away JRE from Houston if we created an open roster spot.

Im sire im in the majority of the minority with this but isnt anyone on this board worried at all about the lack of minutes played by our starters this preseason or can i assume its just me.I looked at the box scores last night and for most of the teams that played their starters hit 30 minutes kings warriors etc... Reg season starts 1 week from Sat doesnt anyone on this expect these guys to be pushing upper 20s lower 30s being this close to the RS.Especially when dame looks alittke out of shape giannis said he didnt work out much.
Im worried about the RS alittle game 1 their guys will be out there 30 mins plus n our stars will play mid 20s cause they are akready huffing n puffing cause they got no mins in PS

Nope, not worried. And not worried about the regular season. The Bucks have been the #1 seed multiple times recently and that accomplished absolutely nothing. Not that I wouldn't love for them to get the top seed again - that's really cool and means they had a fantastic season - but I don't particularly care as long as they get a decent seed.

Yep the Regular season is basically the Preseason. Seeding in recent years has been mostly meaningless so the regular season is where you should try things out, experiment with different guys, try to give young guys a shot, etc
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

We'll probably still see a lot of load management as we've gotten use to seeing and some growing pains from Coach Griff over the season too but as others said the RS is just the preseason to the playoffs and seeding isn't even that important.

some of you guys worry way too much

So who is the best Center out there that isn’t signed to a regular or two way that we could poach? Jake Stephens? Mensah? Jontay Porter?

Dieng, Favors, Noel, Tony Bradley. It's a pretty barren list which is why I don't really care that RoLo's on the roster. I'd still trust him to play 8-10 minutes of competent defense over most if not all of those other dudes.

None of those guys qualify for our open two way roster spot

The Exhibit 10 language can be used to convert a NBA contract to a 2 way contract (he's not eligible for a 2 way), but it also can include a bonus of up to 75k if he's with the Herd for 60 days.

Punt RoLo, sign Khem Birch. Brook shouldn’t have the cache to take up two roster spots like Giannis does anyways.

It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog. Think about that for a sec.
