Re: Stotts Steps Down
AG better hope we don't get off to a slow start because the fans are already turning on him.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

It's not about the answer it's how Stotts just said "im out" and left. He thought it was so bad that even with the best roster in the league he bounced. I just really want to know, it's interesting to me. A lot to this for sure
this is the most important part. it was so bad he was willing to walk away and risk his coaching career. getting to work with the best roster he’s ever worked with while already having player relationships with Dame+Pat.
You dont make a decision like this over something minor or a disagreement.

Stotts could have already calmed this whole thing down by making up some 'more time with family' excuse when he leaked the news to Woj. But he didn't and I'm guessing it was him who leaked the stuff that's come out so far.Daver wrote:So if stotts comes out n says it was my decision to step down but doesnt give any reason will the board still be its AGs fault wagon
Yes it appears it was Stotts decision but he's been around long to know how to put out this fire and it appears he's chosen not too.
As far as Griffins fault, I wouldn't go that far because we don't know the details, but it's not a great look.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Yeah this is a nothing burger to me basically because I understand how little importance an assistant coach has to winning a title, but I really think AG and Stotts just don't like one another at all and he said **** you im out, it's a whole drama

Just imagine if this all happened without the Dame trade. This board would be on suicide watch.

I cannot believe you guys have me out here defending Griffin. I'm not even his biggest fan but he's not even getting half a chance from you guys.
I haven't fired the guy. I'm saying I haven't been impressed by anything he's said or done so far. Maybe he ends up being an awesome coach. I have no idea.
But I can't remember a case where a lead assistant from the odds on favorite to win a title just up and peaced out a week before the season. If this were a health thing or Stotts was retiring it'd be easier to swallow.
But by all accounts he wants to coach, he just doesn't want to coach here.
so its obvious to terry stotts we got a problem but we got fans on this board like whatevs
this season could go so fracking bad we could have players demanding out. thats what im worried about

Stotts quit because he saw the folly in cutting Omari Moore, pretty simple if you think for 2 seconds

What stuff has come out?
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

100%. It's not like Stotts has a history of being a diva as far as I know.
AG is in the situation for the first time.

AG is in the situation for the first time. Can't help but think of DV... I'll probably get blasted for this but control and anger can be issues for individuals who DV...
Dude, just delete this and save yourself the trouble

Honestly I'm just wondering what we can get for a Giannis/Dame package before the deadline. Think Miami would give us Herro/Lowry and picks?

Agree AG cant read stotts mind maybe AG thought things were fine and if they did had disagreements AG probably never thought stotts would just walk away maybe AG thought things were Ok with stotts
