Preseason Game 5: Memphis at Milwaukee - 10/20/23 - 7:00 - BSWI - Khris a Go

Keep Stotts stuff in that thread.

Middleton makes his debut. Limited minutes but all starters will he on limited minutes.

Hopefully everyone plays a half.

I fully expect some growing pains incorporating Dame with Giannis/Khris/Brook. That's fine, plenty of time to figure it out.

Smart expected to make his Grizzlies debut. He better not pull his regular season bs.

Robin Lopez with a 20-20 game and screams ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
MarJon with another 80p game and stays silent looking intensely at the camera.

Why limited minutes shouldnt you at least be ramping up the minutes to get them more into game shape.I mean everyother team starters are doing 25 to 30 mins by game 5 of preseason dont we want these players to be able to play near 30 starting the 1st game

They’ll only need to play 25 or so each when they are smoking the Sixers on opening night.

Khris will get limited minutes since it's his first game. You're right, I would think the other starters go around 30. Curry and Klay played 31 last night.

Checked the box scores last night dubs kings celts etc all those teams starters played 28-32 mins i hope thats what we do.Cant go into RS with our starters only averging 20 mins a night.

I get wanting to ramp up for the season but Khris and Giannis are both coming off knee procedures and Dame wasn't playing all summer.

It'd be way more fun if they were full-go right now but I'll take ramping up over a hamstring pull or calf strain that causes one of them to miss 6 weeks

If we don't see any Portis/Giannis at center line-ups, i have grave fears that we're going to see plenty of backup minutes for Sideshow Rolo this season (at least until we trade for a newer, younger chair)

Yep, I'm excited to see the full lineup but this is moreso what I'm watching. How does Griff run the rest of the rotation

Biggest game of our season so far. Guys need to show up. Dame cant be cosplaying as bledsoe
