Lamar Stevens will be part of the championship DVD when he locks up Giannis in game 5 of the ECF

They will both get minutes, IMO.

Stevens more of a 4/small ball 5 for us.

Our top 7 is so strong it is crazy. Porzingus adds so much just by being 7-3 and a shooter

His on ball defense is very good. Had 2 or 3 possessions tonight where he straight up locked a dude up. Was locked in, didn't play too far up or sag off too much. Got low in his stance, hands out, slid his feet to stay with his man. Refused to let his man score.

And of course, we all have seen the clips by now that I posted over the offseason of him playing D in Cleveland..

Stevens was 97th percentile in isolation defense last season, he’s a MONSTER defender.

Stevens makes good decisions, boxes out, rebounds, defends, makes his free throws. And he's built like Jae Crowder with an NBA body. Frankly, I think he's just about equal to Brissett.

Of course it is only one game, so can't judge yet, but even if you think Kornet has a higher floor at this moment, clearly Queta has a higher ceiling..

6 for 6 was very Timelord like..

I hope he wins the 3rd center spot

So seems like Joe prefers Brisset over Stevens? As far as pecking order after the top 7, it looks like Hauser, Brisset, Svi, Stevens for wings.

Luke, Queta, Gabriel for backup C.
