Nicola Jokic played the whole first half. The best player in the whole world just played the entire first half of a meaningless preseason game that our top players sat out.

My hometown loves our Phillies over the top, loves our Iggles always, and couldn't care less about the Sixers at this point. They love Maxey and they like Joel, and that's about it.

I like Mann. He and Zu are the longest-tenured Clippers. Bones is already my 3rd favorite Clipper. [20 points at halftime!!] And frankly, I already like Russ more than Kawhi or PG and he's only been here about 10 minutes. But there's no future in becoming a Russell Westbrook fan at age 34 [35 in November].

What am I supposed to love here? Norman Powell? RoCo? Batum is half past dead. THIS is why Ballmer can't trade away the future for Harden even if it results in a cheap title--that will be ONE AND DONE.

We are ALREADY in rebuild mode. Maybe we can have a title run with the Over the Hill Gang. But if I'm Ballmer, I'm only 67. [I just turned 67, too. :-) ] I intend to live another 20 years at least. I am NOT going to sell my future for no James Fckn Harden.

Jokic and Zu are BOTH playing the 3rd quarter! Joker plays 28 minutes and hits the bench with 24/14/8.

The Clippers' Big 3 rest their knees.

And how much more can we ask of Zu? He does what he does. Seldom has a great game, NEVER has a bad game.

Our key role players are Zu and Batum. Hopefully Ty can keep them under 24 mpg and figure out the rest because they're crap if they play more. And Kawhi & PG need to be south of 32.

Frankly, it's painful to watch Norman, but like Lou and J-Crossover, you gotta get points from somewhere out of your 6th man and your second unit even if it leaks points. Norman is nowhere near those 6MOYs, but it's not like you can hand the ball to Mann or Bones and tell him to get you 16 points every night.

"Try to stay healthy, but it's tough."--Ty Lue. press conference today

Lots of players are resting in the pre season games. Nothing new.

Bones getting injured is the most Clippers thing ever though. Hope it’s not serious. At least we get a week off before the season starts.

Powell and Moon are ball stoppers. It’s not fun to watch.

Xavier is a solid sentiment story, growing through th G League, but I really hope he doesn't secure the final roster spot.

Bones played energized and under control for the most part.

Possibly there was some extra motivation to play his former team that traded him away. I read a social media quotas that Denver traded him because he did not play defense.

Norm has had a rough going in ore season. Game was tied at halftime but Nuggets turned it up in the 2nd half. From what I saw - they were passing he ball to the open three point shooter and Clippers defense was too late to rotate and that is how Nuggets created their lead.

Bones Hyland! We got one in Bones. Lue Will 2.0.

Injury was tough to stomach, esp in a pre-season game, but hopefully a speedy recover. I'm guess 2-3 week recovery time, but he's young and could heal quicker. That is why Denver sat ALL their starters last game and we sat our starters this game. You don't want to get an injury when it doesn't count for anything.

"High floor" is a very fair description. A Swiss Army Knife who won't hurt you out there.

The plan is to throw T-Mann at guys like Steph and Dame defensively, which makes a lot of sense for the youngest wing player. And as Ty notes, Russ is a hella rebounder so that makes up for the minimal contributions on the boards from Mook.

I always thought of Mook as a placeholder for Batum anyway. Of the 67 games Mook appeared in, he only played in the 4th quarter in 41. We were 20-21 in those games. Of his 78 games, Batum played in the 4th in 67 of them, and we were 40-27 in them.

Mook sat out a lot of crunch time and apparently got more garbage time too. Fortunately, the 250-pound PF is mostly a thing of the past, and the stretch-4s are a lot easier task for a 6'5" tweener like T-Mann.

[Ty mentioned Mann matching up on Markkanen [7'0", 240]. We'll see about THAT.]
