Very high motor, plays super hard but yeah so those flash skills

1. Fun passing skills, flashed some nifty inside the paint passes and corner swings.
2. A surprisingly functional, smooth dribble. No face up game really but he can take 2-4 dribbles without embarrassing himself, that’s not nothing.
3. Some nascent shooting.

yup. So if he's maybe one-half the athlete Rob is, but capable of doing five times as many things on offense (and, maybe just as importantly, willing to try to do some things on offense), then darned if I don't think he can be [pushes calculator buttons] 2/7ths the player Rob was for us last year. And, honestly, I'd be stoked to have that on this roster for basically free.

Rob is one-half the athlete Rob used to be.

I dunno why he wasn't listed on the training camp roster released by the team.

Probably because he hasn't officially signed yet. The Woj bomb came late in the day yesterday.

He'll be there.

Impressive numbers ^

Watch out, Kornet. Wenyen is coming for that 3rd big spot.

Half chub.

NGL, both sexy. The 2nd one esp so. Tho, Pritchard will come down and steal all the boards after Wenyen boxes everyone out.

Kind of like Montrezl Harrell without being Montrezl Harrell which is a win in my book.

Man I just checked https://www.espn.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/4066264/wenyen-gabriel and he's been on 6 teams in the 3 years he's been in the NBA. That's got to be some kind of record; I don't think I've ever seen that. I wonder if they see any real potential for growth in him?

The bigs Celtics didn't sign and have never signed: Whiteside, Dwight, Cousins. We can get a clue by now.

It’s because they want to give him a chance to catch on a main roster.

I’m still devastated.

Uhm ... Neeimas Queta, that's who we were talking about here, right?

Goodbye Gabriel, we hardly knew ye, but WOW are you of slender build -- good luck with your basketball journey!
Wonder if they've got their eye on someone else for the 15th slot, or if they're just trying to lock in Queta as a show of good faith (I know they don't owe him anything, but if he's going to emerge as a real NBA player you want him and his agent to feel like you did well by him)

Bye Binky Two. Hardly knew ya. Keep that roster spot open just in case someone becomes available who will be hard to turn down. Can turn Queta into a regular contract at any point of the season. Can also carry him for 50 RS games (?).

6'9, 205lbs, >7' wingspan, threw down a couple of dunks and made a few good hustle/defensive plays, but wow is he overly ambitious on offense compared to what BOS is probably looking for in this role.

If this were 2013 or 1999 I'd have been psyched to watch him try to develop. Would've been, sadly, one of the most exciting aspects of my fandom for that whole season. But with this roster? It's a 'no' for me, and Brad and whoever else -- hope he lands somewhere else though because it'd be fun to see him blossom (if he can).
