The reaction in this thread is almost as bad as I would imagine the Giannis trade request thread being. It’s unfortunate this happened but my god some of you need to relax and enjoy the most talented roster we will probably ever see grace our television screens.

See I disagree with this. If this was happening in Boston, Philly, etc. We'd all be laughing at them talking about what a mess they were

Philly I agree with you because they’re a mess and easy to make fun of. Boston has an establish culture of being a perennial contender like we do, I don’t think I’d really care if Mazzula lost an assistant coach.

I don't think a really big deal was made when they recently lost their head coach, I could be wrong, I know there was discussion, just not like this. Lots of axe grinding going on here.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

If Cassell randomly resigned right before the season started I absolutely believe we'd be ripping Mazzulla

Re: Stotts Steps Down
I know speculating is fun specially when there is no real games going on and we have nothing better to do.
But the reality is that we have no real context for that story. We don’t know if things like that what happened in the past if it was a repeated offence. I bet choosing the details to tell what happened would make us blame one side or another according to the details that people that were there choose to disclose or their personal opinions. And probably we will never have a clear not biased report about how the chemistry between Terry and Griffin really was.
I would bet like most of the conflicts that happen in the real world everyday both are right and both are wrong. Maybe Griffin felt some insecurities about his leadership on stotts and overreacted because of that. Maybe what happened is kind of normal but since terry is a vet and has a statute he figured he doesn’t have the patience and status to deal with those kind of things anymore (that maybe in the past he put up to). Maybe there are other motivations and explanations involved that we will never know about and we don’t have the full picture to give correct sentences about it
In the end it’s sad that it happened and I think everybody loses a little bit and specially the bucks lose by not having a motivated, comfortable and happy stots as the AM. This is not an ideal situation for the bucks or for terry. But we just have to go ahead and hope for the best for this season and try not to draw definitive conclusions about what happened and who is right or wrong

I mean yeah, people would be talking about it with Boston because they just went through one of the worst coaching scandals in recent memory. Is that what happened to us?

I mean we fired a Championship coach in order to turn around and hire a guy that wasn't the choice of our front office and then before the season even begins that coach had his top assistant walk out on him. So maybe it's not an exact match but it's pretty embarrassing

Yea, this is one of those things where if the Bucks were in LA or NY it would lead sports talk. Not enough was ever made of Giannis picking his new coach.

I'm actually pretty surprised it's only 39 pages.

People were so fed up with Bud that anything else was better and people talked themselves into whoever we hired and didn't care how we got there.

Something that doesn't add up:
Griffin : I don't yell at the players.
Yells at lead assistant for talking to players & asking for a single minute to discuss a pertinent matter.

The thing about a talented roster is that it needs the correct guidance and people management to wholly and entirely flourish. What about this situation would inspire confidence on that front?

I hope you bring this same energy when we're wiping the floor with the rest of the league this year. Lucky for you, and your incessant whine fest, you have the field and "we" have the Bucks. Anything less than a title and you can get up on your little soapbox and continue to complain.
I know this always seems shocking to a certain contingent of Bucks fans, which is utterly baffling considering how important he's been to the organization, city, and state for the last decade plus, but Giannis gets what Giannis wants.
Giannis told the front office to go get Bobby Portis. The front office went and got Bobby Portis. Giannis told the front office to go get Jrue Holiday. The front office went and got Jrue Holiday. Giannis essentially told the front office that Khris was untouchable. Khris has been untouchable. Giannis told the front office to hire Adrian Griffin. The front office went and got Adrian Griffin. Giannis gushed about Dame for years and told the front office to do everything in their power to keep the team title contenders. The front office went out and landed Dame. Appeasing Giannis at all costs seems to be working out well for the Bucks. <sniveling> "yeah but what about Thanasis eating a roster spot and Giannis speaking out in the media?" Sigh...

14 teams passed on him and he only got the job here because Giannis wanted him, not because our front office wanted him
I don't really care about regular season wins and losses, I'm well on record saying seeding is essentially meaningless, that said we have the best roster in the NBA so assuming Dame & Giannis are healthy anything short of a title is a failure and we have don't get a title then Griff will deserve atleast some of that responsibility. And to be clear if he does win a title that he will also deserve credit because I'm also on record that coaching matters imo and you need a really good coach to win a title regardless of the talent on your team
