I wonder if he will go into coaching or media... I hope he would be signed by the Warriors coaching staff, but by the looks of it, he will go into the podcast business. I'd not be surprised seeing him in ESPN broadcast in the future. Very well-spoken.

I mean, I watched some of his interviews, some bits of podcasts he was in, and read his book as well, seemed like a well spoken person to me. Guess it was written by a ghost writer?

Just a genuinely good dude and interesting to see his career trajectory going from a dude who could never really breakthrough as "the guy" in Philly, to mentor and defensive specialist and role player later in his career which grounded some championship teams (though I will always find his FMVP to be a joke, like Tony Parker's). Great career though like yall are saying

Iguodala averaged 16-6-4 (52% FG, 40% 3PT) that series, had the highest TS% on the Warriors, had the highest NetRtg by far on the Warriors, and was a big part of holding LeBron to sub 40% shooting and 48% TS.. he absolutely was the Finals MVP that year. He saved us with a ton of clutch shots and held LeBron well below his typical efficiency, ignored above so LeBron's counting stats could be used instead (LeBron played all but 14 minutes in the series, all of which were garbage time, and had a 41% USG rate)

Cool. Still would prefer Parkers 24/5/3 on 56.8 % FG and 57.1% 3PT in a series were they swept and where Lebron wasn't missing his two main all star teammates.

ok, dont really care about Parker since it was a whole different series that I didnt watch. But pretending Iguodala wasnt actually the MVP of that series is kinda admitting that others werent watching, especially if "he literally only got it because of his defense on LeBron"

Iggy was a game changer, but that didn't make him more valuable than Curry. The reason his TS% was so high were the WIDE open shots he was getting because of the attention to Curry. His finals MVP is a joke. Normally a guy does that and he gets a giant contract after. Not the finals MVP.
