I'm not sure what he numbers are but the flow looks completely off. Giannis alone barreling to the rim is a decent NBA offense but is not nearly as effective as it could be with Giannis playing off ball.

When Dame is on the floor, he should be running the offense. There are plenty of numbers that support he is more effective than Giannis offensively

I want Giannis finishing plays in transition and on the roll. Let Giannis be PG when Dame is out or the other team doesn't have a center on the court

if were going to play point giannis and put dame and middleton on the wings as the spot up guys id love to see the new roided version of green setting the high pick for GA. green looks strong as ox. id trust him as a willing screensetter too

Marques calls Giannis "A-Train" at least once but usually multiple times a broadcast and NO ONE has joined in on that nickname.

his numbers were down across the board last year on virtually every aspect of his game taking on more of that role. none of us have a use for it and it implodes every postseason

There's no data that's relevant because he's never played with a PG like Dame. It makes no sense to take the ball out of Dame's hands as much as Giannis did tonight. Giannis made a big deal out of "setting 50 screens" for Dame. Now he needs to actually do it.

And he should never look off a wide open Dame. I've seen him miss him multiple times in both games, and he even chose to shoot a three over passing to a wide open Lillard
