You don't trade players like him. You trade him and then you need to find another like him and they are rare.

I've never understood this line of thought.

My point was morey is saving his cap space for a “ star” by all accounts . Milton will be an unrestricted free agent at season end . I doubt morey will be paying him what he will be asking for.

I think morey will see him a very valuable chip attached with the picks he will get in the harden trade to get himself a possible star to match with Embiid and Maxey ( Siakam?)
Yeah I suppose. I hope it's not for Pascal though.

It’s actually humorous some of you questioned if Jaden was all defense caliber. Dude is a monster

Oubre was with recent Suns and Warriors teams that actually missed the playoffs, though. I'm skeptical about this dude on and off the court. I still don't like the signing.

I always said to trust the traits. Springer always made sense on paper.

Embiid looking really bad against a weak defensive team, the decline is even faster than I expected.

If Melton can put more games like this together, along with Springer finally seeing the court, we may be in pretty good shape as is.

Too soon my man it's preseason, timing is king. You should have shot this shot at like the 10th game of the regular season.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

How was anyone to know, what Springer could do in actual games. Doc had him on a short leash a very short leash. I'm hoping the guy continues to grow, breaks out and becomes a defensive and offensive standout.

It was one of the last games of the season, when they played against Atlanta where I was thoroughly impressed by Springer's performance. Only to watch him rot on the bench the following game against the Nets. In my mind I was thinking okay Doc doesn't want to get him injured for the playoffs. And in the playoffs he was basically tied to the bench again.

Our guards look ready.

Lame performance by Embiid.

There has to come a point if Harden becomes a sometimes player, that the team and coaching staff says fine, let him sit or let him come off the bench because he disrupts our natural flow. Players are prideful. It can become a thing where they think oh Harden is doing us a favor by showing up and playing we don't need him we're good enough without him. And you have players like Milton and Harris that are going into free agency who have to believe without Harden they can get more touches and can show what they can do. The season can be an audition for the teams free agents to show the NBA what they can do. Harden will further erode his value and piss off his teammates, by not being a professional.

I find our halfcourt offense to be sloppy for now, specially with Tucker who can’t dribble, drive, finish and pass. I think Tucker would be OK playing off the bench as a 5 and with a couple of big 3&4s who can provide some verticality for grabbing the boards. If we dont have that personnel maybe have Springer and Melton to play with him.

Biid also isn’t used to moving with speed, he’s prone to TOs and charging to defenders. His shooting % might get affected if he has to pull the trigger quicker than before upon catching the ball. I think he’s still getting used to the pace with the type of looks he’s getting.

Harris, Melton and Maxey are benefitting a lot with this pace and style. I expect either or both their scoring and assists will be up, seems like there’s some offensive load shift from Biid/Harden to these three on our offense which is expected.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I'm not worried about Oubre. He's on a minimum contract at 27. I think he's going to be focused on showing that he can produce as a role player on a playoff team. Hes going to make a selfish play every now and then but as long as he plays hard defensively im fine with him. Plus we have atleast 3 old, outspoken locker guys to remind him what his role is.lol.
Im not sure why your worried about him off the court though..
