Slow start, only 49-33 in the regular season. Dame and Mids catch fire in the playoffs, in the finals we beat Denver in 6.
World Champions again!
Bucks in 6

As a blazer fan I want to see Dame and the bucks do well but my major question is the defense as Dame is probably the worst on ball defender of any starting pg in the league. Yes giannis is good enough to make up for a lot of that weakness but the difference from jrue to Dame on the defensive end will be very noticeable. Of course the offense Is substantially better with Dame so there's that

Khris' team wins open scrimmage today. There, I said it.

Giannis and Dame won't mesh as well offensively as we all thought. Pick and roll dominance we thought would happen, does not materialize because Giannis won't let Dame be Dame.

2nd round exit.

Dame requests out to Miami.

Giannis will not extend.

AG avoids any deserved scrutiny.

52-30. Start 15-17. Finish with a top 5 offense. Giannis finishes 2nd in MVP and 3rd in DPOY. Dame and Giannis are both all-star starters. Middleton has his best season since 2021. We are swept out of the in-season tournament.

Ajax and Marjon each play 15+ MPG after the all-star break. RoLo plays too much. Crowder and Portis both traded.

Finish the regular season strong and get the 3rd seed behind Boston and Cleveland. Bucks lose in 6 after a 2-1 lead to the Celtics in the conference finals. Giannis hurts his back game 4 because Payton Pritchard slides in late. Charge rule is finally changed after the season.

Denver repeats as Jokic eviscerates Boston. National media in shambles about it, a small consolation.

With all of the slow start predictions one thing I'd note is that the Bucks play Boston the day before Thanksgiving in their 15th game of the season. In their first 14 they have 9 home games and 5 road games and their only road game against a playoff team from last season in those 5 is Brooklyn. I could easily see an 11-3 start where they win games by just out-talenting teams while the eye test and some of the numbers are perhaps not as kind to them.

I think the Bucks win total will be relatively similar to last season's 58. Whatever growing pains they have will be largely offset by an Eastern Conference that has, collectively, gotten worse in the middle and bottom. I think they'll end up in the 2 spot as I think Boston is going to steamroll through the regular season and end up in the low-to-mid 60's in wins. I think the teams do wind up meeting in the ECF and the Bucks do what they didn't 2 years ago which is finish the Celtics at home in Game 6.

I think the Lakers win the West. Between the addition of Gabe Vincent, the loss of Bruce Brown and the expectation that Jamal Murray won't have an all-time great series again closes the gap between the teams enough for the Lakers to win an all-time great series.

In the battle for Kareem, I think the Bucks beat the Lakers and put an unofficial end to Lebron's career as a relevant player in the championship picture.

Lastly and this may just be my bitter soul speaking, I think the Heat miss the playoffs entirely. They get to the play-in but are eliminated by Orlando.

48-34 (3 seed)

Giannis and Dame all-stars (obvi), though they struggle early as they figure each other out

Marjon in the starting lineup by playoffs (should be starting to begin the season)

Bobby and Pat packaged in a trade deadline deal for a more switchable big (Jonathan Isaac + Magic guard??) to pair with Giannis

AJ Green gets regular minutes (just too good of a shooter not to play)

TyTy lays claim as backup PG of the future

Lose in ECF to Celtics (Grif just not ready yet)

Interesting to see that even after getting embarrassed by an 8th seed worse than us, the Celtics are still the bogeyman that everyone can't shake. Cuz my bold prediction is that Boston doesn't even make the ECF.

We are making the ECF.

We will be around .500 by the end of November, and then it will start to click. We will smash our way through the league post Xmas, particularly after the ASB. High 50's wins.

Horst will look to upgrade our bigs, he's always keen to make a deadline move and he's an opportunist.

AJJ will be the 5th starter by the end of the year. Beasley and Bobby (sad) will get traded.

Dame and Giannis AS obviously.

As for the board, there will continue to be a refusal to understand the purpose of load management, or indeed how it even works. In similar fashion people will believe they understand concepts of fitness and coaching better than those working for the Bucks.

Bucks start slow, looking at schedule I think we are 12-8 after 20 games. Things start to click and we end up 2nd seed and 57 wins.

Lose in the conference finals to the Celtics. Jrue has a good play offs because he doesn't play for us anymore......

Giannis and Dame all stars, Khris has a post All star break sulk at missing out.
I think Beasley ends up our 6th man.
Rookies don't get much play time after game 30 (except for AJ Green who is the starting SG) and the board is unhappy with that.
Giannis first team and first team all D.
Dame second team all NBA.
Brooke second team all D.

We do make a big trade at the deadline. It will either be a big wing (if Crowder is over the hill) or replacing Robin and Bobby with a stretch big. We may throw in one of our younger assets to make that work plus seconds.

77-5

- 0-5 start to the season
- AG fired
- 77 game winning streak to finish the season
- Go down 0-3 to Boston in the ECF but win 4 in a row causing Simmons to combust.
- Beat Denver in 6

East 4th seed ... we will struggle alot with injuries... our core will barely play together in the regular season ... We get lucky and healthy at the playoffs, we win it all. Bucks World Champions 2024.
