For the record, I would have extended him but I also would have constructed the roster to value him. He's better than the other guys who didn't get extended. I'm not sure where he stands with us right now and suspect he's gone this year.

Always thought it was weird how all the beat writers and people supposedly close were confident a deal would get done. Seemed like a lot of obstacles and distance to cover

its likely iq is demanding starting money and wants to be a starter somewhere else. i dont blame him, his numbers as a starter are really good and he's had games like this. i think we all know the writing on the wall. hes gonna get traded eventually

Beat writers are mostly clueless. They act like they know but, 99% of the time it's a guess.
