There it is. He can opt out sooner to get more money than if he had waited for the extension next offseason.

Wonder if Horst was the one to figure that out. No one has been discussing this, right?

Literally all offseason the media was talking about how it makes sense for Giannis to wait anyways (but also, he was totally going to leave).

No shock he’s lining things up with the end of Dame’s deal. Makes sense to give the franchise that stability moving forward.

Horst has four years now to pivot out of the Dame era :D

Papa Masai must be circling the date (again).

Kind of ironic but fitting that I am reading about Giannis' new contract extension.

And the blurb right below it is ''Montrezl Harrell waived by Sixers.''

LOL.

What a human being. So loyal to Milwaukee and Wisconsin. What did we all Bucks fans do, to deserve Giannis?

Kareem had a chance to be here for the long run but he decided to go away. Thanks Giannis for staying.
We absolutely need a Mj type statue for Giannis.

This is already one of my favorite seasons as a Bucks fan and we haven't even played a game yet.

:D

I'm not used to seeing you so positive. I could get used to this.

I saw all these other extensions in the headlines earlier, & thought "watch Giannis sign that extension now". WOW.

Need Haynes to find out when exactly Giannis knew he was signing the extension.

Makes this season so much more enjoyable. This way if/when they get blown out by Boston or Cleveland in February, I won't have to listen to ESPN do segments on what teams want to deal for him.

Positive conspiracy alert: Giannis is recruiting. "I am going to be here" can be a powerful tool.
