How great will it be if it turns out Black is already in the rotation, and Jett has a clear path to it? It would mean management and coaches aren't insane.

Also, it will allow me to point out how wrong everyone was who thought the Magic would bury two lotto talents on the deep bench. I'll have to focus on the period before the second Hornets game, since I became convinced they were buried and became despondent myself, but that's a minor detail.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with you sometimes.

Buddy, you already saw the rotation in the third preseason game. That is the rotation.

If any of the top 4 guards can't play because of injury, and it appears Gary will sit out tonight, then Black is the next man up in that group.
Haha, I'm just lowering the weight of game 3 rotations and adding in evidence from that tweet! That adjustment, along with my prior belief that we would focus on player development, leads logically back to the camp that expects Black to be in the rotation.

Last night games:

Suns - 10 men lineup ( 10th man played 3 min)
Warriors- 10 men lineup ( 10th man played 4 min)
Lakers played 12 men lineup ( actually 10, two guys combined for two min in last seconds )
Nuggets -12 men lineup (actually 9, 3 men combined for sub 3 min)

it's not 100% impossible that Black plays ahead of Harris. But i would not bet on it. Like i simply don't see how it's possible to play more than 9-10 men lineups on regular bases without self sabotage.

9 man rotations tend to be cleanest for sure.

The 7 man rotation I think will be

Franz / Paulo / WCJ / Suggs / Fultz / Cole / Isaac

8-10 are going to depend on injury / opponent matchup

Tonight? I think there is a chance we see

Franz / Paulo / WCJ / Suggs / Fultz / Cole / Isaac / Mo / Howard / Black

Mo / Howard / Black in order of most to less likely.

If you said its likely that it is Mo / Ingles / Black ro some combination I wouldn't be surprised either. Here is hoping for a blowout win and we see human victory flags in Black and Howard locked in.

Black/Cole/Jett/Ingles/Isaac is a second unit that makes a lot of sense.

LFG!

I think the bench carries us tonight. Rockets subs are trash except Amen.

Looking forward to seeing Paolo dominate.

I wouldnt be surprised to see a 12 man rotation early. I don't see JI getting 16-18 minutes soon. I would think a 10 man rotation would be the goal...unless they just want keep JIs minutes down...which may be the path. I can't see a 9 man rotation with the depth and development needed on this roster.

I like Ingles as a floor spacing 4, and Black as connector wing to get some PT, don't hate the idea of Black spending time in Lakeland either.

Houston is definitely improved from last year, but I also like how we match up. I'm not scared of FVV but obviously he can get hot. But other than that I feel like Suggs can really pester Green and keep him from getting into a rhythm, and JI has the tools to give Jabari fits too. I think these guys are hungry and will get the dub tonight.

Don't forget Ingles...if he's healthy, he'll be a strong rotation player. He makes others better, he competes, and he spreads the floor. He wasn't brought in by accident.

Hope he stays healthy.

I upgraded my seats for tonight( had the fast break pass). I would like to give away the 2 fast break tickets, but you would have to meet me at amway and go in with us since I can't transfer the tickets. I'm planning on getting into the arena as soon as it opens so if you can meet me there at about 5:30-5:45 or so you can have the tickets for free. Let me know. Shot me a pm asap.

Ps- I have no clue where the seats will be. Most likely upper nose bleeds but it's free and opening night.
