No matter the competition they seem committed to good habits from the start.

Missed a few good open looks, namely from three but this is fun to watch. Just need to go on a run and get the lead to over double digits and keep it there

...by finally doing what "Hater Nation" correctly said he needed to do for the whole past year?
This argument might have made sense if it happened midway through last year, but not after he wasted an entire season with Morris.

Ball movement is crisp but still don't like this three guard unit, esp with TimeLord playing the four, giving up too many boards.

bones still needs to add weight but he seems stronger. more importantly, he's putting a lot of effort into sticking hard laterally on his man and you can see it with the way he glides. jamal crawford this kid is not!

Love how they’re passing the ball ahead. Rebound and looking up the court. Finding the guy leaking out.

Neither T-Mann nor RoCo will be starting come the playoffs. If they are, we are doomed.
Hater Nation is a bore. But I do hope each will be getting 15-20 minutes a game. Not only have I been following T-Mann since his first Summer League game as a Clipper, I've been following RoCo since he started with the Sixers.
I'm not a hater.

If you're in LA, BallmerVision is only $99.

Re: Season Opener Portland @ LAC 7:30pm
I was just gonna write what Brian Sieman just said
Clippers by 25
everything the Clippers' locker room has been missing, Russell Westbrook has provided
Westbrook +26
11/4/10
I want him to average LESS than 14 ppg
This team has needed a leader
Mann is a nice glue guy, and so is Batum
bur SERIOUSLY, folks
these are OSCAR ROBERTSON numbers

Re: Season Opener Portland @ LAC 7:30pm
Don’t like how the clippers bench projects to be this year.Bones and Powell seem repetitive and Martin having little to no shot in a spot up role is rough. Plumlee won’t be the best defensive option as C and with two guards that gamble and Batum about done this will be difficult.

Instead of Harden I say we get a solid center or at least a center that can space the Floor, would be perfect with Westbrook.

The Clippers Ultimatum Checklist
The Clippers have gotten the automatic win vs. Blazers by way of Lawler's Law as I'm writing this, so they'll be fine. But an opening season like this needs to be sustained for the entire season. Go dominant without letting up, don't get hurt, don't get too careless, and don't get ejected from games. That is why I am proposing the Clippers Ultimatum Checklist, a series of goals the team must meet from now until the end of the season. They are:
1. Go perfect against lottery teams. There are five teams who will miss the playoffs automatically, multiplied by two for east and west. East is easy, 10-0. Against the west, a median of 17 wins, give or take 2 games (This is due to divisions, where Clippers get to face their division opponents four times and inter-conference opponents three times).
2. Win in double digits. No less than 12 points. A 20 point margin is heavily preferred.
3. Get the no. 1 seed in the west. That means Tyronn Lue must become the All-Star Head Coach.
4. Three All-Star selections. Leonard and George are automatics. Westbrook will be the one most likely to return. But if they can get a fourth in one of their role players, it will be a huge boost in confidence for their playoff run.
5. Don't get hurt. Clippers have to be completely healthy from now til All-Star Break. This one is going to be the hardest one, but it might be the only way to keep the team out of fines for purposeful resting.
6. Don't get careless. Don't take lottery teams lightly. Don't lose three games to any western conference opponent. Don't wait until the last minute or when the game is all but lost to win. All the bad habits that Clippers allowed to put themselves in this ultimatum predicament.
7. Don't get ejected from a game. The ultimate checklist. A single ejection to Leonard or George means the Clippers have failed, and the rumors of a blow up created by the media become immense and unstoppable.
This checklist will ensure that Clippers will not return to the loser ways of the Sterling era. So much is at stake: they could lose Leonard, George, Westbrook - heck, everybody! Except for their rookies, a record twelve players will become free agents. They do not want to enter into their new Intuit Dome as a loser team spending twenty years in the lottery to atone for their mistakes.
