I agree it looks awful so far, but it's Game 1. I share some anger with how management has treated the team and fans. Let's see how the team is looking by Game 20 or so.

It just makes me wonder what the roster would look like if Jody sold to Knight.

I think we're gonna try and get the first pick but I think we'll slide to 4-5.

Record after 20 games will be like 4-16.

We probably finish stronger than we start so year 4-5 seems reasonable. If we trade one or multiple of malcolm /grant/Williams/thybulle we could potentially hit number 1 worst record though

Dames first game he had 23 and 11 +16 and ended the Lakers ridiculous all star team of Nash, Kobe, Howard etc before they even got started. Basically ended Nashs career his first game as a Laker. Legendary.

LOL come on man, 1st game of a big time rebuild, so negative - what did you expect? If you are that angry then perhaps step away for a while, it's not worth it. Watching sports is supposed to be enjoyable, if not why bother?

It'd be damn near impossible for Scoot to be as good as Dame but he has the potential to be pretty good in his own right. Bare minimum I hope he can just be a productive starter and between picks and what we have already we can come up with 2 stars hopefully not tweeners

Every team needs to rebuild at some point, this is the cycle of an NBA team. Those Dame teams had run it's course and it's now time to rebuild. A rebuild is never easy but it's necessary.

Regretting the Ayton move. I didn't know he was this much of a nothing-burger. So far he looks no different than any 7 foot stiff we could get from anywhere.

If you heard the announcers both Lamelo Ball and Kyrie Irving started at age 19 as PG's, they both had abysmal first games and ended up winning ROTY. Lillard came in much more prepared for day 1 of the NBA, he was 4 years older then Scoot was in his first NBA game ever.

This is the welcome to the NBA moment that every super young player goes through. I also have a feeling you would be even more frustrated if they made some win-now move that cost us #3 pick, Sharpe, and Simons. If those three guys end up being great and we don't even win a championship or get close after that.

Sounds like they're trying to get him used to playing off ball for learning purposes but yeah seems like a really stupid idea at the surface. The sooner they stop this nonsense the sooner Scoot will have a shot. Iso anf is really gonna get annoying and it will be substantially less effective than it was with Dame..

Chauncey really seems incompetent. Really good for tanking really bad for development and winning..

I know this team is young, but they do not look well coached...
