That's fine as long as he's knocking a decent amount of them down.

It may not be pretty, there will be highs and lows but things won't come easily for Beasily

It will basically be Grayson Allen without all of the nut punching and tripping. There will be games he goes 5/7 from 3 and is on fire and games he will go 0/9 and looks like trash.

All I ask from him is if the ball is in his hands in a deciding playoff game, down two, with 0.6 seconds left on the clock he shoots and doesn't just dribble the clock out on our season. Hoping that isn't too much to ask.

Ladies and gentlemen, basketball enthusiasts, and loyal fans of the Milwaukee Bucks, today we stand at the dawn of a new and exciting journey. The air is thick with anticipation, and the excitement is palpable, as we embark on what promises to be a championship season for our beloved Bucks!

As we gather here today, we must recognize that championship seasons are not built on fleeting moments of greatness but on the sweat, determination, and resilience of those who wear the Bucks jersey. Our team has shown us time and time again that they possess the heart of champions, and now, it's time for us to rally behind them like never before.

Championships are not won overnight; they are the result of hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of excellence. Our team has shown that commitment, from the countless hours spent on the practice court to the fierce battles on the hardwood. They have demonstrated that the road to success is not always smooth, but it is the challenges and setbacks that define us and make our victories all the sweeter.

We've seen our heroes like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez

rise to the occasion, not just with their talent, but with their grit and determination. They've shown that it's not just about individual excellence, but about teamwork, camaraderie, and a shared goal that unites them and inspires us all.

But let's not forget that our Bucks' success is not achieved in isolation. It's about all of us – the fans, the community, and the entire Milwaukee family – coming together to create an electric atmosphere in Fiserv Forum, to paint our city in green and support our team through thick and thin.

So, as we embark on this championship season, let us be the wind beneath their wings, the roar in their ears, and the unwavering belief that drives them forward. Let's remember that the true champion is not just defined by the number of trophies they lift but by the hearts they inspire, the communities they uplift, and the unity they bring to a city.

This season, let's be the loudest and proudest fans, the unwavering support system, and the driving force that propels our Milwaukee Bucks to greatness. Together, we will overcome every obstacle, outwork every opponent, and celebrate in a sea of green confetti as we hoist that championship trophy high.

Believe, Milwaukee, for greatness awaits us, and this season, together, we'll make history. Go Bucks! Onward to victory!

Sincerely,

ChatGPT

Dame has some history of not being great in recent season openers. Just posting this in case I'm freaking out later when he can't hit a shot.

Since it's the season opener, I think a sonnet and not a limerick is called for. Looking for Brook to contain whiny Embiid en route to a 120-104 win.

For many years we opened on the road
The better teams allowed to start at home
A league of butterflies and us the toad--
They glittered brightly, we were monochrome.
But then we crawled out of the slimy mud
New owners and Antetokounmpo came
Yeah-no, we also got a coach named Bud
And pretty soon all things were not the same.
No longer was an eighth seed ceiling seen
No more a suitcase just to play game one
The Bucks now get a chance to wear home green
And start the season seen by everyone.
We're now a Bentley, not a Pontiac:
We roll on TNT with Charles and Shaq.

All rational thought points towards the need to be patient for this team to gel with a new coach, new system, new guys and some still getting their legs.

I will not be rational when we go through our first drought, I should be. I will not be.

It wouldn't shock me if we look like crap and lose by 10 or more points. It's going to take a while to break some of those Bud-infused habits which will only add to the incohesiveness. That said the Bucks are talented enough to overcome that against the Sixers. Should be fun.

Sincerely,

Mike

Dame drops 40/10 tonight. I can feel it. Do we think Fiserv will be loud?

BA and SVG doing the call on TNT.

As for any pregame festivities that may or may not have been planned for the Deer District (I haven't seen anything), it's an all day rain so it's going to be car to bar to FiServ for me.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I enjoy Anderson and Van Gundy, can't wait for SVG to pronounce "Antehtowkwuhmpow" and scoff at Gianni taking a 15-foot mid-range shot.

He usually looks horrible in the first month.

Everyone freaked out the first half of the season after we acquired Jrue because he looked REALLY bad, then had covid, then was hurt, and really didn't get going until midseason.

It would be nice to have Dame drop 40 tonight in a win, but I am more worried about April to June.
