Stotts resigning before the team he signed with plays a single game after the star he has a long term relationship with joins the team is super, super weird.

What in the world.

Definitely more to it than what is being reported. Weird is an understatement.

Stotts will be one of the first interviews here if Clifford does get canned. Not a sexy pick, but not a bad one either.

Serious allegations but of all the stock photos they could have used during Dwight's career they choose 2 only from the season he played for Charlotte

People were stoked about Wembys debut last night but he wasn't even the best rookie in the game. Lively looked fantastic

Agreed. Lively looked like what we hoped Kai would

Almost perfectly captures the fan experience of Hornets and Panthers fans, except for the last part.

And then following it up with some big mental errors in crunch time. That's the Kelly Oubre experience.

Yeah it’s almost as if you shouldn’t be closing games with a guy who is making the minimum.

Hornets are 1 game in and we are already looking at our guard depth with concern. Yet we could have basically resigned Oubre for free and opted not to and keep Bouk and McGowens who none of us feel can even give us 20 mins successfully.

Yeah and those guys along with JT Thor, Kai Jones are worlds away from being able to score 27 points on 9-11 shooting and 5-6 from 3 in 32 minutes.

Plus we could have put him on a deal that could be used as filler in a trade if we need to make one later.

Oubre didn't make sense on the roster the moment we drafted Miller

Oubre can play the 2/3 just like Miller.
I would rather pay Oubre 10 million for 1 year than watch 40+ games from Bouk and McGowens. Especially if we are trying to make the playoffs. His contract to trade alone had value even if we didn't love the on court value.

I have been saying that this will bite us in the ass.

Oubre is adding 0 wins to any teams. We will not miss him.

I just don't understand your fascination with Oubre on this roster this season, having two years of evidence showing he was not helpful
1) oubre cuts into Miller's minutes
2) oubre pouts about lack of playing time

oubre would have been the 6th wing in the rotation if everyone was healthy OR he takes minutes from Miller, Miles, Hayward, Terry, or Cody. Even with injuries and suspension, he would be 4th wing right now.

mitch made his bed regarding oubre when he drafted miller and nick smith jr, on top of his other two project wings on the roster.

I'm happy to have negative basketball IQ Oubre off the team. He's never getting better than what he is and he's a losing player.

Trae Young shot 4-16 last night against NYK. Starting the season shooting 23% FG and 22% 3PT.

Will be interesting to see what happens in ATL if they take a bunch of losses, really thought Quinn Snyder would have them looking great out the gate.
