I think we might be having a "is this Gary Harris?" conversation soon. He's looked good in preseason play, and good in game 1. Contract year bump or not, if he has a pulse, he's interesting.

As a starter G Harris played his role and accepted is as a spot up shooter to spread the floor.

After 1 game Suggs has already been called a "chucker" as he has to mature to fill the starter void the way that Harris did being seen as a non factor.

But now the shoe is on the other foot, Garry Harris is legit NBA player and will likely feast on bench opponents.

We are a deep team at least in the sense that the guard starter play is as good as the guard 2nd string play. That is going to give a lot of teams problems as it did last year with Cole + Sugs.

Yeah, this could be exactly what it is. Won't change my mind about Suggs starting, but Harris going from a negative to a positive will do wonders.

Suggs and Anthony Blacks development is the key here. Yes our 1st and 2nd guard unit is almost interchangeable. But in 2 years time we hopefully will have 2 lock down defender guards, and 2 2-way players or whatever you are calling net positive people on both ends of the floor at F.

Find a way to tweak WCJ from a positional standpoint and you are cooking with deep playoff gravy.

Isaac + Cole off the bench + third mystery player in the future and there is your playoff 8 man rotation.

Man sometimes you read stuff and its just so hard to believe.

Other times, its so far out there, that it flips to the more likelihood it happened.

Best starters, expect to have one of the best records. Best bench? I'm curious what teams with the best benches do win rate wise.

also interested in this query.....it feels good to have a competent bench.....cole becoming seasoned is probably the best thing to happen to him, he's not playing like a drone anymore....you can see him actually putting some thought into what he's doing on the floor...Gary Harris is nothing but solid....JI is an x-factor he can impact the game when healthy....joe ingles is taking a bit get going but he's playing smart and moving the ball...the only change i would consider is moe wagner cause sengun worked his azz last game

I like Moe but I never thought he was a "backup Center"...I feel like that may have been a way for a lot of us to work him into the rotation. To me, he's always been more PF than C defensively (or lack of)...I think it's clear Goga gets the nod when the other team has a more conventional big man like Sengun...I guess, on the other hand, you'd think Moe could brutalize a big plodder on the other end (?)...Either way, he's limited I guess.

Man I should've put some money on the win total bet... I remember seeing somewhere over o/u 35 wins being +1000...... I guess I can still put money on us winning the southeast +700

It is because he has not retired. I cannot remember where I heard it but someone in the organization was asked about why we don’t sell Dwight jersey (or something to that effect, it could be about another merchandise) and they said something to the affect that he was still playing. This was a while ago so I don’t know if things changed but mostly it was because he was still playing.

Watching this Hornet vs. Detroit game is very rough. I am so confused why Clifford didn’t want to coach our team anymore.
