Lillard/Beasley/Crowder/Giannis/Brook is a comically old lineup.

Giannis needs to stop ballhogging and stop taking jumpers. He should working the post and paint, drawing attention then kicking out to Dame. Dame is exactly what Bucks need. Giannis can’t close a game for crap, Dame is elite at that

Lebron made it to the finals with that cleveland team.
Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

Of all of the NBA greats, the champions, Giannis is the biggest fraud skill wise. He lacks the most basic skill in the basketball which is shooting and the rest of his offensive game, besides driving the basketball to the rim is a pure trash.

Gainnis was off today and looked bad in the short roll but he should figure it out. Dame was the king of horns last season and the Bucks have taken it and it was successful all night.

Its painful watching Giannis carry the way he does in the open court. He’s literally galloping with the ball on top of his palm. If the nba isnt going to enforce any of these “points of emphasis” what’s the point of making such a big hoopla about it in the first place.

Bucks look to be on a warpath after a slow start. Really hope we see a fully healthy matchup between them and Boston this year

What’s the general assessment of Giannis as a defender right now? For a guy who is casually thought of as better than a peak Garnett his presence defensively is not really even scrutinized, ever. Even on a lottery defense like this years Bucks.
Before Budenholzer he was not considered a particularly relevant defender, on bottom level defenses. He seems to naturally be back there now, but with a bolstered enough reputation that it doesn’t matter.

Swinging for the fences.

Giannis is playing lazy asf generally poor defense this year. Part of the problem is he sucks trying to defend the perimeter, he gets hung up on screens which take him completely out of the entire possession and isn't good at making multiple rotations. Plus when he's out there he's not in position to protect the rim as well or defensive rebound.
Part of that is Adrian Griffin's atrocious scheme. Part of it is likely after the Bucks/Jrue Holiday's epic meltdown vs Jimmy Butler last year Giannis feels like he should be guarding elite perimeter players when the reality is he should never be doing that (which is what Budenholzer had schemed).

29 wow.. feels like just yesterday he was 23 -> 24 and going on his first MVP campaign / first exposure to being an alien-esque player. How time flies
