Gordon with a rock solid -27 on plus/minus.

EG with a fat -27. KD with a +18 still.

It's pretty disturbing that KD and bench players they can only squeeze out 7 points in an entire quarter. I would try to swap Little for a point guard.

Beal and Booker aren't playing. It makes a HUGE difference.

Not denying that but KD + bench should be good enough to beat the Lakers. Besides Okogie and Goodwin our players rely too much on 3 pointers.

Wait didnt you say we pretty much had no chance earlier?

Well, that 4th Q did nothing to quell the fading KD commentary
Unfortunate chuckfest he put on. Not sure it was necessary

Bahhhh was worried I got too excited for him after preseason. He was largely trash for the Clippers last year.

16 assists vs 20 TOs says it all. If KD played like in Gm1 Suns lose big to this mediocre Lakers team.

Positive is Suns have outrebounded every team including the preseason.

Im wondering what our coaching staffs gameplan was or is... We should still be running an offense even without Booker and Beal...

That was an awesome game. Not taking much out of this game without Book and Beal. Suns had a lot of chances to pull away this game without them, that’s pretty crazy. The Suns are going to a machine very soon.

In KD's defense he needed at least 1 other guy to step up - but there wasn't anyone like that playing tonight. I knew unless KD turned it on even more in almost legendary fashion it would work against them because the rest of the team is absolutely not involved.

Id probably go all in for Malcolm Brogdon by the way. Perfect player for this team.

The Lakers are cheeks. We played without 50 PPG tonight and took them down to the wire in their building. It’s all good.

Wouldn't have been even close if one of Book or Beal played. Lakers got away with a ton too, as expected. Nurkic was also taken out of the game conveniently.

It's part coaching and it was also part Gordon/Allen non-contributing again. EG was not showing a lot of effort out there on offense. No slipping screens, no trying to create mismatches. Just chucked whenever he got a chance.

Allen kept dribbling into the void and passing out.

Yes, I’m presently surprised how we came out and played throughout the game. Just not enough scorers to close it out.

No way to do it without Nurkic in a trade.

Doesn’t being a 2nd apron team not allow us to get buyout guys? I’d love to get him tho.

Also, a lot of the suns turnovers were just unfamiliarity with one another, that should iron itself out in time.

That 11pt 4th quarter is embarrassing but hats off to LA for playing smart defense throwing everything at stopping KD knowing that was our one and only gameplan.

Still early in the season and aside from JO and KD, no one else in that 4th quarter has played with each other before so I can understand there's still a lot to improve on
