Dame is going to be difficult if we meet in the playoffs, even with DW and Holiday I worry. Bucks are interesting this year. Think Middleton is on his way to being well done but would be a very 50/50 series imo

Lillard shot 17 free throws. Were those legit or did the refs gift a lot of them? Didn’t get to see the game.

I mean, we both know that all depends on who you ask. Fans can never be trusted on what is "legit". They were the kind of calls he will continue to get all season yes. Which is all that matters.

Sixers got a tough whistle down the stretch for sure but a lot of that was caused by Embiid looking either terribly lazy or out of shape and putting his teammates in bad positions. Also Kelly Oubre got the Kelly Olynyk treatment a few times.

Unless I'm missing something, how has Harden not been fined and/or suspended by now. that has to be the biggest Joke ever. Spineless Commissioner.

A lot of guards are going to have big nights against that back court like Maxey did tonight

True.
Bucks sacrificed defense for offense by trading Jrue for Dame.
Part of what made the Bucks champs in 2021 is great defense.
Now the Bucks will have to rely solely on offense to win games.

Wow, Dame scored 39 and probably gave up 39, I’m terrified.
No one is denying the Bucks won’t be very good but I’m not worried that Dame is going to score… we know that going in.
Offense alone isn’t going to cut it in the playoffs.

True.
Dame always lost in the playoffs because the Blazers were an offense only team.
The playoffs is indeed different from the regular season.

Mind you, giannis and brolo are a pretty decent frontcourt to cover guards mistakes

They are with regards to providing pain help, clogging the lane.
But they're not a great pair against teams playing 5 out.

If this is true, then Cs did really need to put in Rob (apart from the Griffin S&T being complicated). Hard to imagine Blazers preferring Brogdon over Mann straight up. Or maybe Clippers weren't willing to give up two firsts?

Not the same.
You're risking your bigs to get in foul trouble.
Maxey was at full speed with minimal resistance from Dame.
It's like Maxey is a max salary player when Dame guarded him.

It’s the NFL’s funniest and freshest coach, Mike McDaniel, against the NFL’s frumpiest and frowniest, Bill Belichick.
One is as open as a new Safeway, and the other is as closed up as an old submarine. One will tell you anything you want; the other will hand out information on a need-to-go-screw-yourself basis.
One looks like a nerd who got lost on a stadium tour and wound up as head coach. The other looks like an Easter Island statue nursing a grudge.
...
McDaniel ... treats every question like a Christmas gift he’s about to open.
Some actual examples:
Q: Coach, what’s your relationship with the officials?
MM: It’s not monogamous.
Q: What’d you say to [speedster Chicago Bears quarterback] Justin Fields when he came to your sideline?
MM: I just wanted him to stop scrambling. And it was pretty irritating because he didn’t listen. At all. He didn’t take the coaching.

Nah. We traded the PICK to memphis. We didn't draft Bane and then trade BANE to memphis.
Memphis could've taken anybody with that pick. They happened to take Bane. But we traded the pick to them, and then they just told us who they wanted, so then it looked liked we were drafting Bane..
This kind of stuff happens a bunch of times, every draft.
At least that's how I understand it.
Bottom line, Bane and Maxey were on the board still when we took Nesmith. In hindsight, it would have been nice if we took Bane or Maxey instead.
That's all - it's not that deep.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything
