The magic need this win. If they can control the guard play from portland ( scoot, sharpe, brogdon) then i think they can pull this out. Do the little things again like control glass, limited turnovers and win 50/50 balls will be huge. Also not allowing a random guy to go for 30 plus on us will be a big thing. Someone like grant can do that. Lets start 2-0!!! Go magic

That's one of those "be careful what you wish for" kind of statements, my guy.

Anyway, looking forward to this one. Excited to see Scoot in their home opener, and I'm expecting bigger nights from Paolo (should have plenty of family/friends in the arena), Suggs, Markelle and Franz now. Winnable game but another team's home opener is never a gimme.

I doubt I'll be seeing this one live as it's from 4:00AM to 6:30AM and I'm still up, probably watching some of the early games. But we'll see. I can sleep in tomorrow, anyway.

Last season when we played them they only had Jerami Grant to defend either Paolo or Franz. Late in the away game he would switch to whichever one of them was hot and they'd just pass the ball to each other. :lol:

Now they have Thybulle so it's going to be a bit more difficult.
