Key matchups I’m looking for:

1. Scoot vs Orlando’s backcourt. They are no where near as talented as the Clippers backcourt, but still have really solid rotational depth. Scoot will get tested throughout the entire game, but it shouldn’t be as severe as the harassment he got from the Clips. Let’s see how he responds to his poor performance last game.

2. Paulo Banchero vs our Frontcourt: Dude is a physical specimen that can score with the best of them. Too strong for Grant and likely too quick for Ayton, Timelord might be the best Blazer big to match up on him. Will he get extended minutes this game over Grant? Likely not because match up 3 is…

3. Chauncey vs Wet Paper Bag: Will he be able to coach his way out of one? Unlikely, but this is sports so you never know

4. With Simons out of the lineup 4-6 weeks, will Grant take that to mean he gets to chuck twice as much?

Grant is like a mini Z-Bo… a total offensive black hole, except he’s allergic to rebounding instead of defense.

I hope we are able to trade Grant ASAP when the deadlines comes and goes. Great guy for a contender, but letting him run free re: shot attempts on a rebuilding team is just no good imo.

Yes hopefully we can. If we can't trade him I say eventually make him a 6th man. Guys like that are better as bench support.

Thankfully he's not a guard, meaning he shouldn't be able to jack shots as bad as he possibly could

I think there's teams interested in grants skill set. But the contract will limit the market I'd imagine

I'm curious to see if brogdon starts. Would prefer sharpe honestly as there's nothing to lose

Either way I'm excited to see Scoot with the total keys to the offense tonight. I imagine this is a prime chance for him to go off a bit

I swear this Blazer team has to be the most likely in the NBA to try to make a pass through two defenders. I have no **** clue how Billups could not correct this mistake when he was very adept at making passes without turning the ball over.

Jerami has to go. He just has to go at the earliest chance.

Wow. Chauncey looks so bad…the defensive rotations are literally nonexistent.

And then he leaves Scoot in with 2 fouls with 3 minutes left in the first. Why TF is he a head coach again?! The guy who demanded him is gone…

I think he's here to lose us games tbh. But I wouldnt be shocked if we make Brooks head coach at some point and he'd be a solid developmental coach moving forward

We really need another top 10 pick to really bolster this roster if we want to have a real shot at a championship in the next 10 or so years. I would love picking up a stud C or PF that would be a great piece to pair with Scoot and Sharpe.

I'll be honest, I'm really not loving thybulle. Pretty ineffectual at sf defensively and can't score either. He needs to play at guard and we have a gazillion guards. Probably ought to look to trade some combo of him brogdon and whatever else for some combo of picks and a capable player at the 4

I want to move on from grant but if we are stuck with him I'd much rather him play the 3 so he's not a liability on the boards
