Looks like Dallas found the only way to stop Wemby

Looks like Dallas found the only way to stop WembyDid you see how many lob passes Luka and Kyrie throw to Lively? None of them were below his head. Wolves need to watch this game film.

There are going to be a lot of teams doing that to Wemby this year, he has a long long ways to go as a defender.

Chet with 7 blocks and 9 FGA, that is a line I would like to see from Rudy a few times this year.

Chet is a great #2 for SGA. He does things KAT just do, including have much more mental toughness and BBIQ. Unfortunately, his trade value is also exponentially more than KAT.
Wembanyama is a different animal. Let’s not forget that he’s only 19. He changes how the game is played on the defensive end. It’ll take him time to learn nuances but by the second half of this year, I think he’ll be an absolute force. That said, I don’t like San Antonio playing a PG-less lineup. I feel as good as Wemby is now, he still needs someone to put him in “his spots” offensively, as opposed to being an initiator.

I see what Wembanyama is doing, and it's frightening! Frightening because I'd argue that 80% of his production so far is just due to his unique physical skill set. He's far from ready to carry his team to the playoffs. He looks a lot like rookie Giannis did. And just like it took Giannis a few years to develop in the NBA, it will take a bit for Victor too.

I stand by my prediction that Spurs make the playoffs.

I think you're probably a year early on that prediction. They might make it to the play-in, but I don't think they make it out of there unless someone makes a big jump forward.

Two years, imo

With the current state of the West, you might be right.
