Portland played better than most people on this board anticipated. They are athletic and played hard being their home opener, and they do have capable players. People were acting like this was a Bobcats team from like 12 years ago.

I knew the Blazers were going to give us problems after the way they lost their first game. Professional sports teams usually get back up well after a bad loss.

We should do better job finding Paolo and Wendell early to get them going .

So far our offense is being held by Cole and Franz.

2-0, no reason to complain.

Would have liked one of our world class reporters to ask Mose about JI and Markelle’s lack of 2nd half minutes.

Was it injury related?
Precautionary?
Flow of the game?

The T-Mac comps are pretty far out there, but he reminded me of a young Joe Johnson tonight. The jumper looks smooth, so once he can punish teams for playing him tight he'll be a real problem.

Beede wasn’t in Portland, now I wonder if the Sentinel is sending him for any portion of this road trip.

In the postgame Mosley interview it was only Josh Cohen and Kendra saying anything (so only Magic employees). That’s a problem.

If there was an injury, the Magic PR account is good about giving updates but we didn’t get that tonight.

He doesnt have the smoothness that Tmac has, yet he skies and glide to the rim like VC.... he does shoot like Joe though...

Good win, they were having a better shooting night than us and the ball was bouncing their way more often than not, we simply played better and smarter, the defense made a big difference.

unlike first game, this is a bad W in my book.

if Mosley plan on offense is to let cole anthony totally running our offense,or to let the ball in banchero's hands and say"save us",without building nothing for him,we will have a gigantic problem along the season.

this team can only play with a lot of movement without the ball, cuts and rithym, there is no other way.
wcj 3s at end of first half should be the blueprint: banchero create advantage, fultz connects and wendell has a clean look.

right now best weapon we have it's franz pick and roll, that saved us ,and obviosly when starting five locked on D.

portland is terrible,as any team without a proper point guard,we even took too many risks.

Any road win is a good win, but especially in an opponent’s season home opener. That is not easy.

And Portland has a good 1-8 (seven with Simons hurt).
