Striking the balance in distribution and getting everyone involved will be a big emphasis for Mosley to start this season, I reckon.
Chemistry does seem a bit off. Mosley is trying to thread too fine a needle. It's mostly Weltman's fault though.

It's just virtue of a 9 man lineup where someone will always be staggered, I don't think any of them give a **** who has more shots.

Paolo just needed to be fed more when he had position, but I think he was frustrated he was missing easy free throws too.

if Anthony is on the floor he is the #1 offensive option, because he always feels like that.

especially with Banchero less assertive in preseason and these two games, this is Cole Anthony team by a mile.

It's on Mosley and staff if this is a good thing or not.

I've gotta say...it may not be "the right thing", but I hope Paolo DOES give a s**t about whose getting the shots...You've got to be a bit of a selfish Pr**k to be among the league leaders in scoring and be that true fearless Alpha we have lacked. I kind of want him to love his teammates but truly believe noone in the league can stop him.

There's definitely a fine line, but there's a point of selfishness where Jordan sat, just short of where Antoine Walker lived.

I think they do care about shots, Paolo especially. You can see it in moments when he doesn’t get the ball. It might just be coming from a place of wanting to get shots up to get into a rhythm. Franz cares about shots, but not necessarily his own - he just wants to see the team take smart shots. That’s why i think he’s been commanding the ball more down the stretch.

But that 2nd unit hasn’t looked as good as it was at the end of last season when Franz and Paolo were staggered with it.

Still, it’s just the start of the season so I need to temper my expectations and give Mosley time to see what’s working in the first half of the season and adjust post ASB.

There are already only 8 undefeated teams; 5 of these are 2-0.

The Magic is still the NBA's overall #1 seed (i.e. the best team in the World) based on 2 wins and the tie-breaker of points differential.

Orlando is the only Southeast club that is undefeated.

Eh, I would say it's about making the smart basketball play and making the defense react to him. Paolo getting the ball in those positions doesn't necessarily mean he's putting up a shot. He would have to still make several moves and then the defense has time to react, but he could make some nice passes from those positions.

He also had plenty of chances to shoot threes and took a dribble in and passed it. He's just not really that kind of offensive player yet to give him the ball and expect a bucket.

Cole and Franz are our most talented offensive players at the moment because they can create their own shots at three levels. Paolo will have to start proving he wants to shoot threes and goes up strong instead of playing for contact.

Just off memory, I mostly recall Paolo getting the ball either on a post up as the first option, or on the elbow as a 2nd option after a drive and dish. Both scoring and passing out of those spots.

It’s funny, because the way his game is going, Paolo looks like what AG could have been if his skills matched his self belief. I’ll be interested to see what he does with his game and how much weight he gives to his outside shot.

I just think it's crazy we had two high lottery picks and both guys aren't even in the rotation, I'd have rather packaged them to trade for a legit player than just let them ride the bench considering we should be in the playoffs this year

Obviously I Had not heard about the allegations, but allegations doesn’t mean guilty. That being said I would say the FO steers clear of Howard.

Really good summary about our offensive focus on layups, foul shots, and kick out threes.

Yeah... long time Magic fans know what kind of organization we have. No way we gonna sign someone with that baggage attached. Especially if the player is in the twilight of his career.

I have said multiple times that I am bullish on Fultz.

The stats that the naysayers roll out are mostly cr@p.

However, the most predictive stat in basketball is games played per year.

Fultz is an amazing player and it is not an accident that he has the highest +/- on the team as a starter, not a small accomplishment.

The odds however of him playing more than 60 games however is quite low.

It is why I was really in favor of drafting Black.

I was just hoping it would last a few more games.

Lakers 3.5 point favorites in their game against us tomorrow. I expected a wider spread. Home court advantage would be most of that I'd think.

Edit: Ah, tomorrow is a back-to-back for them.
