GT #2: Grizzlies @ Bullets 7 PM (MSN/980 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Sat Oct 28, 2023 5:55 pm

YOUR Washington Bullets are 0-1!

The tank may be on overdrive as a blowout by the Pacers on opening night showed us how bad this team will be!

The Grizzlies are off to a rough start. 0-2. They lost to the defending NBA Champions last night and the Pelicans on opening night. No Ja Morant for 23 more games. No Brandon Clarke. Steven Adams is out for the season.

Will the Bullets give the DC crowd something to cheer for? Or will the Grizz get on track to stay afloat in a crazy Western conference?

I expect a lot of our young guys to play better at home, and being our home opener versus a team that played a tough game versus Denver last night, I'll go with the Wiz Kids.

That said, Memphis is going to come out hungry not trying to start the season 0-3. Should make for a good game

Kuz on pace to launch 48 3's, just like Wes drew it up.

A zillions times better defensively than the first game. Competent D!

Deni clamping Bane, making the three.

Kispert balling out tonight on, being aggressive with his shot.

This is the Corey Kispert I've wanted to see since late last season. Puts his head down and drives. Dude is 6-7, 220. Use that size and decent athletic ability. Doesn't hesitate on threes. He and Deni seem to have some chemistry going.

There’s no way this FO really watched Daniel Gafford and thought let’s not have a solid backup behind him. Outside of foul trouble he seems to sprain his ankle once every 8-10 games.

Umm, they are tanking so they were not going after anything better than Mike Muscala. Maybe the skinny kid John Butler will turn into something down the line.

Kenny Lofton, Jr. must easily be three bills plus.

Good half by Kispert. Coulibaly is raw, and will need time to adjust to the speed of the NBA. Kuzma desperately trying to get into the game by launching 3’s. At some point, he has to realize tonight is not his night.

Nice take, Deni. Love he didn't give up the ball there despite his teammate calling for it.

The Tyus-Deni-Poole-Kuz sequence was beautiful.

Bane only scores when Deni is 18 feet away.

We all know they’re tanking. Bring in another young center that can eat minutes. Muscala has no business playing. Gallonari should barely be playing.

Yeah, they listed him at 275. That was very kind. He can play some but if he got in better shape, he'd be a nice role player.
