Goodwin should get more minutes somehow. Kinda solves the turnover problem for the bench, while playing good point of attack defense. If he can keep this up - and I don't see a reason why he couldn't. Just not sure who's minutes will it cut into if everybody is healthy the only 2 options are Gordon and Allen who are even better players than him - but maybe a bit redundant skillset, strenghts and weaknesses...

It was nice to see an easy win, I didn't expect it with Book and Beal out.

KD played a perfect game. 26 points on 11 shots is ridiculous.

Eric Gordon finally played a great game and he could rest a good part of it.

I loved what I saw again from Okogie and Goodwin. What a dogs.

Allen and Eubanks played much better than in their first couple of games too. It was pretty clear that the Jazz weren't agressive/smart on defense and we took advantage of it.

This was what i was talking about before the game and what we were excited about before the season started.. Our bench can get it done without all of the big 3...Just need time...Remember how new this roster is. Huge game for our chemistry... Good win...Go suns!

The team was extra fired up because of it being a home opener and the ring of honor celebration in the halftime. The play of Eubanks and Allen was especially night and day compared to first two games. I also liked a snippet they showed from training camp with Vogel teaching how to box out and saying every play is a chance to show Suns are a nasty team. The team looks commited on the defensive side. The offense didn't look bad in this game either.

KD didnt even look good for the few games he played last season... He obviously needed time and reps with the team... This time without Booker and Beal will do wonders for him... Hes getting that rhythm...

I didn't mean it as a bad thing just that he didn't look comfortable. He will keep finding chemistry and getting better as the year goes on...No1 is stopping us in the playoffs if healthy.

Had to watch the game late due to getting screwed at work and having to do a couple hours of OT, but what a fun game. Bench and role players showed out. Wish the NBA TV telecast showed the halftime ring of honor stuff.

Yup, but it's all about the team making shots at above 50%.

When you have Gordon/Allen shooting 25 shots at a 62% clip, and KD shooting 8/11 with 9/9 free throws, you're going to win most of the time.

Just gotta make sure the defense makes it hard, which they did. This is why Frank Vogel was such a brilliant hire for these guys....championship experience, and a really decisive defensive scheme that resulted in, tonight at least:

Talen Horton shooting 1/7
Clarkson 3/10
Kessler 1/4
Dunn 2/7

The only guys who did damage was Markk, which was expected at 7/13 FG but he didn't get enough shots (credit our defense).

I like it...Just a fun tally to see how good we are with 1,2, or all of the big 3. Will be interesting to see the tally at the end of the season.
