it Is a strange mix and will be curiuos how their season gonna develop, they could put on the floor super defensive line-ups,but also other ones that could be easily top worst 5 offense.

big incentive to W: not having their first pick in 2024 draft,no need to tank and with that long roster seems really difficult to see them going under 35-36 w at least.

Cam Thomas is really something else...he's like that kid on the playground noone can stop, but he's doing it at the NBA level without any regard whatsoever for team play. Yet, he's not considered a serious guy. It's wild. He flat out does not care who's on the floor, who's guarding him, or who on his team is open.

Rumor has it that Cam Thomas falled exams because he refused to pass

But guy is talented, and he is very, very talented scorer . If only somebody can teach him how to use it in team settings.

Bulls, Wizards, Hornets, Nets, Hawks and I don’t think Detroit is good.

Any of those teams could be better than us (or worse). I'd include TOR as another "who knows" team with a huge range of outcomes. IND looks really good and young, but could be a Hali twisted ankle away from meh.

CHA caught some really bad luck with Miles Bridges insanity. That's a good player. A healthy Hayward is no joke either. Mark Williams looks great and Brandon Miller will not be following ORL's timeline for rookies

...DET's got lots of stuff on both ends
...Can't count out WAS with Kuzma, Kispert, Gafford and my boy, Poole
...Hawks could be third seed or 12th
...PHI is certainly on a shaky balance beam
...fun times. The West is the same, you can make a case for just about any team being at least competitive. SAS and POR are the candidates for tanking and both have enough to compete, to some degree, now. If Ayton comes out of hibernation, POR's no joke with a couple of solid vets in Brogdon & Grant that they could choose to keep along with their significant young core of 4 or 5 keepers. Somebody will decide that they're "too good but not good enough" and, hopefully, sell us someone we could use.

That's why it's so hard to project ORL's spot...somebody has to move down for us to move up. Injuries will certainly play a part for teams moving around dramatically.

yep...it's hard for an optimist like me to not look at him and wonder if he's the missing piece and "how is nobody else seeing this?". They are...he's not Iverson. He's a fun watch but, I guess, coach's nightmare? Jaden Hardy and Cam Whitmore might be in the same category but both are also very young, so we'll have to watch and see who clicks.

You mean: playing against best player on planet Earth, by wide margin?

Jokic is so far away from anybody at this point that it's not even conversation.

It's hard to reprogram player. If that's what he has been doing whole his life, it's part of what got him into a NBA, so it's very hard to tell him "well, it worked, but now scrap that" .

I posted somwhere part of interview between Lavine's & Wiggins former coach Sam Mitchell and he pretty much said that Lavine can't even explain why he passes open 3s for stepback 2s. And Sam's conclusion was execlly what i just wrote. It's hard to reprogram player. Those kids are 20,21,22 but they have been playing basketball for 10+ years and it's very hard to change their playstyle because their gut instics are so deeply branded them into what they are today.

TBF, those two are going at it at the box score and it doesn't seem like anyone is stopping them. DEN is able to stop Shai though while the rest of the OKC....well....

No matter what you throw at Jokic to defend him, he is just too good.

Holmgren is fighting like a lyon tough,he simply can't stop Jokic on D and so he tries to outplay him on the offense sprinting and moving a lot.

Don't think he will be healthy enough during his carreer, but what a player

Also, this game has to be showed when someone ask: what positional size is?

Im curious about IND... based on the boxscores PT, they dont put much size in the court aside from Turner. I wonder how they do against a big team.

The camera-person didn't even know what Jokić did here:

Chet is nice offensively and as a shotblocker. But Jokic didn't even have to box out properly, he just had to stand there. Chet is going to have major problems.

Im watching the Lakers/Kings game now... hope its a close one so they would be tired when they fave us. Lol

But if not, since SAC seems to be beating them soundly, our bigs need to attack Davis. AD seema to be backing off a lot.
