I tried to tell you that Duren was better than Mark Williams and Walker Kessler!

BTW, James Wiseman can probably had for free at this point. If you have any faith in him, now is the time to get him.

The turnovers and missed field goals are major issues, though. As we know with Embiid, those can ruin a playoff series.

In the Chet Holmgren vs. Victor Wembanyama discussion, I'm taking Chet as of now.

I think I agree with you, although both with be All Star+ level players. Wemby has better physical tools with his length but Chet’s bball IQ & overall skill level is better. And given that Chet also has amazing physical traits, he’s a better bet long term.

I like Chet better too but Wemby potential is through the roof.

How could the sixers get them if they were interested?

Had him top ten. Draft board posters questioned his positional value but he’s an absolute monster of a unit and very young

Other news Nuggets look very scary. Easily have 3 more seasons of this.

Yeah, Duren’s better than those two right now.

I’d roll the dice with Wiseman if he will buy into a smaller role. I think he’s at this stage of his “hero’s journey” where he wants to play a big role and get a $30+M money.

Richaun Holmes is one guy Im looking at. I think he’s cheap and gives us what we need at the 4 on paper.

Nuggets never scares me for some reason. Maybe its because our guys always seem to play well against them. Maxey dropped like 40 without Biid then you have that Tucker game when he looked like an all NBA defensive team member lol

They both look great. But Wemby’s upside is closest thing to Wilt IMO. He can just dunk it when he’s near the rim. A real chance to be the greatest defensive player ever, considering how hard it is to play defense in this era

Another thing is he’s playing with bad players and horrible playmakers right now, letting him get a feel of what defense will potentially throw at him. If they surround him with threats that can generate gravity like how Chet is with OKC and let him play within a role, its gonna be hard to defend him.

It's a no brainer, he can't be any worse than Mohamed Bumba...

Wemby vs. the Clippers:

40% from the field, 5 turnovers

Wemby has played 3 games & had only 5 rebounds in two of those games. I’d hold off on the Wilt comps for now lol

Watching GSW-NOP right now. Pelicans are fing up not trading for Harden. He’d make Zion be absolutely lethal. Easily top 3 contender. Zion is so dynamic with the ball in his hands going downhill towards the rim. Way better than Embiid since he’s capable of dribbling in traffic.

I'd be fine with a CJ for Harden trade.

I’m looking at Herb Jones, Dyson Daniels, etc + picks for Harden. We have the scorers, we should fill out the rest of the rotation with defense and toolset young players like Dyson.

Herb can’t be traded until Jan, so I’d actually do Trey Murphy and let him rehab here. He has a higher upside compared to Herb anyway. Pelicans really nailed a few drafts, jeez.

Oh god, another 30 pt game for Cam Thomas. Prepare for the highlights.

In other news, Lamelo Ball kinda sucks.

Im quite concerned about CP’s lack of 3pt shooting. Specially when paired with GP2.

Moody has been solid this season. Moody and Kuminga can make up for Klay and Wiggins’s scoring inconsistency.

I like the CP and Saric chemistry off the bench.

Steph has been on fire this season. I’d like to see how this team plays when Steph plays on a cold shooting night.

Chet was the safer pick over Paolo. Paolo’s pick can only be justified if he can 50-40-90 or 60TS% his shooting % which Magic is banking for. Until then, it was a mistake drafting Paolo over Chet.

Chet still has to prove he can stay on the floor for a season.
