The Wolves need to keep the defensive intensity coming out of the half. It would be really nice to put this out of reach in the 3rd quarter.

If anything, that first half at least shows us that this team can play together on offense. It wont look this good normally but again, if we can be like to 12 offensively combined with our current top 5 defense, we are golden. What we saw in game one cannot happen frequently, that's a nightmare.

Lets hope we don't collapse in the second half, old Wolves teams would pull that crap a lot. Get up huge and then just play like trash in the after the 3nd quarter. The Hawks will have a few runs, they will get back in the game, just got to keep steady and don't get stupid.

Fun first half! Glad to see Rudy running and more spring in his step. Loved that pass from him to Towns. Also the alley oop from Towns to Naz. We have a luxury of bigs!
Just love to see plays with pass-pass-layup/dunk. What a beauty! The offense is humming well

I can’t overstate how big of a difference it is having Jaden McDaniels in the starting lineup. He is so important for the flow of Minnesota’s offense.

Not to complain, but Trae Young gets away with using his left forearm to make space a lot. Little guard privilege!

Minnesota’s offense has (expectedly) cratered, coming out of the half, but the defense is a problem.
