Paolo getting shut down pretty much was the difference, oh and the obvious ref bias. My god, did AD even get one single foul called him the entire game? He had about 6-7 questionable no calls defending the rim.

He may have missed, but Suggs showed why he’s closer to being a Billups Mr Big Shot kinda guy to me than Paolo is.

The loss hurts, but the performance by Suggs makes up for it. Love this guy!

Magic are a bit rusty to start the season. Hopefully, it's better tonight against The Clips.

Ugh.. hate to leave a chance to beat the Lakers on the table. At least we forced them to play AD 38 minutes. Surely he'll get injured at this rate.

Can't even get mad. Suggs exudes heart and hustle. Gutted for him that shot did not go down.

Our youth showed again, that was not a good OOT play design. Gotta show character tomorrow and find a way to bounce back. WCJ and Paolo need to get their head out of their ass and start playing better.

I know we don’t do this but I wish Paolo was the one getting interviewed. He absolutely deserved the criticism. I’m not sure what is going on with him.

Again, we had our chances. But things didn't go our way. What a loss! I like the fight though but things at the end just didn't go right for us. We had the lead by 4 and a clear path foul. Just a bad finish for the young team. Hope they learn from it! But we are better this year!

The refs didn't steal this game in any respect. The Magic had ample opportunities and just didn't make enough plays.

WTF are these lineups for these big possessions? Where the hell are the shooters?! Where's Harris or Cole?

Running out Suggs and Fultz when you need a 3 is insanity.

Paolo is just a walking trash can on the court this season. Cant hit shots, cant hit free throws and when he drives to the rim he is always too strong and bricking it off the iron. Just infuriating to watch.

Good game. Ultimately our defense is what kept us in it and ahead but we just couldn't make timely shots. AD and Dlo were great for the Lakers. This one def sucks
