Some players come around slower than others.

They won’t come around at all on the bench. You don’t get better by watching. That’s not a thing in the NBA.

Tomorrow's game is going to be tougher. Clippers is no joke. I just hope our players rest well this rest of the day and be ready to play. It is still an exciting game though. btw we are better than last year's team. That is the good news!

I think you should say more.

Because that's a bit of a tough blanket statement to make without the context of what bothered you.

Usually young guys get a bump after playing with team USA but not sure what happened with Paolo. It sounded like Kerr was telling everyone he's a future 5 so maybe that's in his head? Or he spent too much time with Ingram.

i was listening to a podcast today and it was mentioned a lot of the team usa member are struggling out of the gate ie ANT, jackson, reaves etc. could be fatigue

The most concerning Paolo stat is that he's shooting under 4 FTA per game. Just shows how ineffective he is right now.

We'll likely be 2-2 after tomorrow's game. Clippers look great.

I can stomach losses like this if more players play with passion like Suggs. Markelle was better in the 4th, but he was trash almost the whole game. I'm not sure what's going on with Paolo, but I'm just glad he was more aggressive in the 2nd half. Franz with the uncharacteristic clear path foul and getting blocked a lot this game. Wendell fought hard the whole game, battling AD, so I'll give him credit.

Harris was awesome, but then only took 1 shot after the 2nd quarter? The rest of the bench was awful.

I thought Mosley was okay for what we needed him for the past few seasons, but he might not be the coach we need to take the team to the next level.

How many more years do they need to get experience? It’s like most of the losses last season were precisely this. At what point do they learn?

Good point, I didn't realize Ant was also having a rough start.

Either WCJ or Paolo needed to be taken out for Harris on that last play. I am fine with Fultz because he is our best inbounder, so that was fine.

Right like...

Which starter isn't gonna be on the floor in that scenario?

There's 8 seconds left, not 2 seconds left, so you want Carter out there for a potential OREB.

Suggs was 3-6 from three before that possession, so he's gonna be out there.

Fultz is the best passer, so he's the trigger man on the inbound.

Are you putting Paolo or Franz on the bench in that scenario just to have Harris out there? I don't think so. For better or worse, these young guys gotta be out there and figure it out. And if it takes a few times failing to help them figure it out, so be it.

Down 1 point with 20 sec to go and in a bonus, that Suggs drive with 10 sec left was as dumb as it gets, but the real problem is Paolo and his play to start the season

I really thought PB was going to find his rhythm after he hit that three. He'll get going, just wish it was tonight. A few mental mistakes, but the ones that got me were not finding a red hot Harris at least two times in crunch time. I cant complain about the effort or the refs just some bone headed plays against a good veteran team, our best players stinking it up. I really, REALLY wish we had a starting PG who can shoot the ball. I'm not anti Fultz but the lack of floor spacing from him really bugs the hell out of me. Everything else he does i'm good with. Probably the most winnable game in our back to back set.

Yeah let's continue to lose and draft even more 1st round picks and lose more!

We aren’t a title team. You know that, right? The goal is to develop the talent you’ve drafted so that you can win on a greater level.

Players don’t learn sitting on the bench. That’s not a thing in the NBA.

No way we are winning that Clipper’s game. That’s why I was hoping we win this one.

Easily taking out Wendel and Suggs, and if he has any balls Paolo also. I would have ran with Fultz inbounding, Franz, Ingles ( a career 40% 3 point shooter, Harris, Cole

It feels like Mosley is scared to hurt these guys egos.
