Would've been risky but probably would've stuck with Isaac given that he was defending well in the 4th. I agree with others that we should've had more shooters on the floor but that OOT play was awful which caused Franz to panic and rush that 3 point attempt.

Lost to a veteran team. Lace up the kicks, learn from the mistakes and try to be better against the Clippers.

Don't forget that he misses half of those

Eh AD just played elite on both ends.

They’ve got a good view of the floor from the bench.

Yeah, cause we need to keep letting Fultz show us that he’s a backup and not a starting caliber player for 30+ minutes a night.

I think you should say more.

Because that's a bit of a tough blanket statement to make without the context of what bothered you.

It’s not necessarily the final minute or whatever.

I don’t like this idea that there is only a bench unit and starters. Paolo can be in the game without Franz and vice versa. Russell starts getting hot from 3 and we refuse to put Suggs in because we aren’t staggering lineups until the 4:00 mark. **** like that.

And yeah, I don’t care really who you were last year as a player. If you are ICE cold from the floor all night, then maybe someone else should be in like Harris when it’s obviously his night.

Who is the 3rd best player on the team? Fultz or Suggs? After today's game and if Suggs keeps this consistency, I am voting for Suggs. And I am really happy for him to come this far especially after the rookie season. Suggs played his heart out and he cared about the game, which I love. Dude shows hustle and heart. We need to keep him on the floor more

You 100% take out Paolo. He can’t shoot and played an atrocious game. We needed a three and we left our shooters on the bench. No way people can seriously justify it lol.

Banchero had 4 points last year at home vs LAL, LeBron is just terrifying to play against

They won’t come around at all on the bench. You don’t get better by watching. That’s not a thing in the NBA.

I’m sure you guys have noticed that Franz and Paolo do not do well in those moments. They always seem so rushed and not composed. Fultz, Suggs, and Wendell are actually pretty good in these types of moments, which has always been funny to me.

I don't think LeBron was the reason why Paolo had a bad game. He has hit a wall offensively

I think it's still clear that Isaac has some 12 min a game restriction, weather it was suggested by doctors, or team simply comming to conclusion it's dangerous to play him more.
Tbh Lebron got around him 2 times in a row pretty easly.

Gary Harris is the only player that looks like he progressed from last season.

It’s more AD.

Paolos whole game is being a giant mismatch. Doesn’t work against him when he’s an even bigger mismatch. He needs to develop a shot.

Which starter isn't gonna be on the floor in that scenario?

There's 8 seconds left, not 2 seconds left, so you want Carter out there for a potential OREB.

Suggs was 3-6 from three before that possession, so he's gonna be out there.

Fultz is the best passer, so he's the trigger man on the inbound.

Are you putting Paolo or Franz on the bench in that scenario just to have Harris out there? I don't think so. For better or worse, these young guys gotta be out there and figure it out. And if it takes a few times failing to help them figure it out, so be it.

For me it’s an easy decision - bench Paolo for those last few plays in favour of Harris. Does it upset Paolo? Sure, but he had a whole game to find form before that and he didn’t. He’ll get future opportunities to figure it out on nights that he’s feeling it.

LeBron hasn’t even been a good defender in a few years. It’s an excuse. Paolo just straight up isn’t playing good basketball.
