The Sixers are acquiring Marcus Morris, Nic Batum, Robert Covington, KJ Martin, multiple draft picks and a pick swap for James Harden, PJ Tucker and Filip Petrusev, sources tell ESPN.

1. you preserve cap space for next season for a UFA or trade for someone under contract
2. by making the trade now, they are eligible to be traded again by the trade deadline if another deal pops up

So we got picks, they're try and package that and Tobias for a 3rd star. We also got lots of capspace for next year. Not bad. Maxey is going to be all-nba this year, book it.
