President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I don't know if Sweat is overrated- Young is. All in all, not a bad trade. Might be the first of many

I didn't want them to trade Young, but there were probably trying to get what they could for him. At this point, just sell the farm. I wish Allen and Payne could be traded too.

Is there still time to get anything for Curtis Samuels? How about Antonio Gibson?

Re: The Washington Commanders Thread
The guy I saw play for Washington had a lot of LaVar Arrington in him.
Major reputation, plays here and there, but just never lived up to this potential.
Let's see what Young does in San Francisco.
The guy I regret losing is Montez Sweat, but if the guy doesn't want to be there, no sweat letting him go.
Too bad they couldn't ship out the Maga DC and the Rara Retread.

Well chase got hurt. Major injury. It’s a miracle he regained 75% of his ability. It’s not an effort or a between the ears issue with him. To me at least…the injury robbed him of his explosiveness.

Getting a 3ed for a physically diminished guy who's way over rated and will want over paid. Is a good move. Getting a second for another over rated guy who's gonna want more over paid is good. You can't blame the DC for all of their failures this year at some point these guys just Are not as good as they want you to think.
I wanted to also bring in pieces as well. I felt there were no line man up for grabs and some better WR options out there.
I felt we should have made more moves but Ron needs fired.

I just better not see us draft any defensive ends in the first 3 rounds this year.

....... But now we need them lol I think some science needs to go into drafting that this team hasn't been doing in years past.

o-line, d-line, TE. ride Howell as long as we can, and then draft a new rookie for when we're ready for the push.

I think Howell is actually really solid and could be the guy in a couple years.pancakes3 wrote:o-line, d-line, TE. ride Howell as long as we can, and then draft a new rookie for when we're ready for the push.

Yep. Early returns are good on new regime. Sweat is good, but not that good and is at a position you can replace more cheaply.

Yeah and he isn't miles Garret lol at all lol . So, the front office knew he was gonna want too much money and the bears were dumb enough to give up a second rounder to over pay him by 14 mill.long suffrin' boulez fan wrote:pancakes3 wrote:Montez Sweat 4 years $98M, good golly. If you (Bill Belicheck) get out coached by Ron Rivera, it may be about time to hang it up.

Re: The Washington Commanders Thread
I'm of the opinion that if Washington lands a top 5 pick, you probably have to go quarterback. You're talking Drake Maye or Caleb Williams. Marvin Harrison Jr and a tackle are probably going top 5. Keon Coleman, WR out of FSU is also a top 5-7 pick.
If you're picking out of it, I think Howell has shown enough that I'm willing to give him a 2nd year but with better protection on the offensive line. That has to get addressed, so does the linebacker position. Amarius Mims is the consensus best offensive tackle in the draft, but no idea if we'll pick high enough to grab him.
Howell needs to learn how to throw the ball away, he's made some pretty bad mistakes, i.e. that pick in the endzone was killer but he's essentially a rookie. Give the kid some time to throw and he'll be alright.
