Looking forward to watching this new look Clippers team. Can't stand Harden but I've always wanted to see the Clips succeed.

How so? Harden wasn’t playing for them.

Tucker and Harden outgoing was better than what they took in. Losing a guy like Harden should have netted them at least a solid contributor. The picks are the best part, because the players they picked up won't have much impact. At least Tucker would have been a playoff defensive stopper.

If it was just Harden the player it should net more, it’s not though because it’s harden after Houston, Nets, and Philly.

In a vacuum the Harden trade is not much to write home about but I'm surprised Philly got so many picks considering only one team even wanted the dude and there was no one to outbid.

Clippers got the best player in the deal, but it's James Harden and I continue to not understand why any team would want the drama he brings everywhere he goes.

So I guess I think the Sixers did pretty well and the Clips are playing with fire.

I have not followed this thread, so it might already have been said, but it occurred to me that Brogden might end up in Philly now, and I think he'd be a good fit there.

I think they are deeply invested in keeping the cap space open for 2024. Probably going to make a play for Siakam and OG.

My belief is that Steve Balmer was easy to convince as he really wants to win now..

But how the hell is Westbrook Harden going to play well together??

Watching NYK vs Cleveland, I really like ISAIAH HARTENSTEIN and wish there was a way to get him. He is so active around the glass and underrated in the skills dept.. and YES we could have drafted him. He went 43rd in the 2017 draft.. what was our pick just a few spots before you wonder??? The legendary SEMI O :o :-?

The NBA will regret putting the Spurs on so many national TV games. It will be years before they are competitive.

That may be right but I understand their reasoning. Wemby is the future and certainly has casual fans interested in watching.

It's just about Wemby.

People will watch Wemby play, win or lose.

Yeah, that may well happen, too. I just thought they might want to go for something this season. They've got options now. Also, they've got more mid level contracts to play with after this trade. ... And, I think there might be something about aggregating salaries if they do it this year that they won't be able to do next year. I could be dead wrong about that, but I thought I heard or read that, either on Smitty's podcast or Zach Lowe's.

If this happened to the Celtics, everyone would've been RGM-traded and RGM-fired.
