I love the narrative this year that we don’t need to take the regular season serious because of last year.

How is butler acting like a baby and sulking around a knock on Micky? These clout chasers and jock sniffers like that Austin clown are a trip.

If jimmy was to flip out on the heat i think philly would be the only place he would go because of Embiid. Miami would be more obliged i believe cause jimmy put in work for us. Inwant jimmy to retire here but if he feels the FO isnt doing all they can then set him free even tho the Dame shyt isnt their fault

Seems like Jimmy doesn’t want to be here anymore. Time to package him and Caleb Martin for Zach Lavigne and a PG.

It's important to remember that Jimmy was instrumental in carrying the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals just last year. We're talking about a player who almost single handedly eliminated the Bucks, putting up phenomenal performances. The man gave it his all despite dealing with an injured ankle, at a time when other players were already off to Cancun.

Given that last season was extended and highly taxing on players both physically and mentally, it's only fair to cut him some slack. It's crucial for him to be in peak condition for the latter part of the season when it matters the most.

So before we jump to conclusions based on a few games and Twitter noise, let's remember the player Jimmy is and what he's already done for this franchise. A few off games in October is no cause for alarm.

The Heat have a challenging schedule to start the season. The upcoming home stretch will be crucial. Let's hope Jimmy returns to full health soon. In the meantime, his absence offers an opportunity for JJJ and Jovic to see more court time and for Tyler take more resposibility.

They saying that Jimmy's post about gas prices and buying scratch lottery tickets are jabs at Miami's ownership not willing to spend. Now Jimmy started the season playing disinterested and sitting out games.

Jimmy isn't happy, and I'm not surprised.

Jimmy shot 86% from the field when you defended him in the playoffs brother, you didn’t do anything last night Jimmy just doesn’t give a fuxk since our FO is asleep at the wheel.

Yeah he is, so the FO and ownership better get their **** together. If Jimmy has to make things uncomfortable for the ownership to do something then I am all for it. Either get Jimmy some help or move on and secure a future for this team around Bam and Tyler.

We likely not winning anything but that wouldn't be the worst team to watch while we rebuild.0

There is no scenario where we end up trading Butler and also keep Kyle Lowry. No way!

Some of yall entertaining this idea of Jimmy wanting out or giving up on him are wild. Personally never want to see him in another jersey unless he asked out.

If we trade Butler the #1 objectively would be to get rid of salary, getting talent is secondary. Lowry and CP3 would be over 60 million in expiring contracts. That would ensure Mickey doesn’t pay the tax which seems like it’s the prime directive here based on our actions for the past few years.

Just speculation going on atm based on these previous posts by Butler. May not be true, but there does appear to be a theme with these posts. Jimmy's comments in the final post about y'all selling us a dream man, and having to return to his day job and that he can't quit he'll just have to keep doing it could be interpreted as some frustration related to the Heat not bringing in any help, Or could just be Jimmy being Jimmy.

yeah that's a message to FO i think. he already a rich man by many standards so he doesnt need to buy lottery tickets or complain about gas prices. he can afford it all with ease but yeah its a jab to FO

could be trouble in paradise

Heat front office deserve every bit of this. Doing nothing again was completely unacceptable. The final straw was the signing of Dru Smith lol. I’d be checked out too if I was Jimmy after the immense sacrifice. Get Jimmy to a real contender he’s going into his mid 30’s and nobody ain’t giving us chit for Lowry and we barely have any picks to trade. Get a nice haul of picks and free up some cap space so we can start courting Bam’s friends with a real chance. As of today we can’t get chit done and that’s as real as it gets.

Return to Miami Heat
