I don't like the reports of us wanting a G.

We have a G in Maxey. We should be hunting for a F.

We literally have one ball handler on the team right now. A guard is absolutely needed.

Sure, Sixers could use another ball handler and ideally a bigger G to complement Maxey, but if I have the option to throw big money at a star G or F, I'd rather throw it at the F and spend what's left on the G than the other way around.

Of course, a lot of this depends on what becomes available.

Maxey is currently better than Harden.

Your going to need three greats to beat the Celtics. They have the most talent in the NBA and if they can stay healthy no one can beat them. Hardens playoff experience will be missed if you get that far. Personally I am not a Harden fan and in the long run your team will be better off without him.

Maybe. I don't really consider the Sixers a contender as currently constructed, but I don't know if another star is the answer vs a well balanced roster.

As for the Celtics, they had the best roster in basketball last year as well, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Firepower is overrated.

The Heat beat the Celtics last year and Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent were their 2nd and 3rd leading scorers.

Umm Jokic and the Nuggets… since when has Porzingis been “great”. Brown also against us, great early on no doubt super mid after.

Jokic is the most complete offensive player ever.

Talent, ask the Clips how that’s going. They were betting favourites not once but twice in 2 different seasons

It's been a crazy day of trades for me and Josh Harris....Harden, Chase Young and Montez Sweat...

Been processing this Harden trade and I'm shocked we got as much as we did. the 2026 pick is a good one.

I actually don't want to trade all these picks...I don't think we need a "star". We need a couple of good/very good players.

If Korkmaz has any trade value, then why wasn't he shipped out to... anywhere for a 2nd to make room for the 4th incoming player?

Seems like we just got deeper at Korkmaz's position, so he's even less likely to get minutes.

Kork’s deal can be used as salary ballast in a trade. That’s reason enough to keep him over Green.
