Seems like Winter is gonna be a guy this year.

Last year's team, even with marginal improvement + Winter and Storr. I'll take it.

Going to probably get a 7'2" guy over a Matt Painter offer later this week. Hell has frozen over.

Assuming they land Jacobsen like you say they will that's a heck of a recruiting win for Gard

Moves decent, ball comes out of his hand well. #1 recruit...in the state of New Hampshire. Can't do any better than that...in New Hampshire.

I think this is an academy in NH...it looks like he's from South Carolina originally? I am not going to fact check this but I believe it's the same academy that...Alex Illikainen played his senior year at.

Seems like the tea leaves everywhere are suggesting they will indeed.

Brewster Academy is legit. It's one of the top athletic high schools in the country (for some reason). Not like it's Oak Hill and only superstars go there - and I have no idea what this kid will be like - but I think it's one of those places that turns over their Senior roster every year to D1, the Juniors step in, and they go find a new group of Juniors for next year.

Quick googling and their 2021 class played guys at Memphis, South Carolina, Vandy, UCLA, Iowa, Wake Forest, and the G League (Zaire Wade). It's a good school (or "school").

Would be a heck of a finish to a pretty darn good 2024 class. Gard gets alot of flack for recruiting but he his 2023 class is solid, he has Essegian & Storr for 3 more years, and now a real solid 2024 class. He's been doing good

Reading between the lines... substance addictions. Hope they can find an avenue for him to comeback.

Multiple sauces within the program. Also it’s what programs use in theee situations as a reason for absence. But yes, it is due to substance abuse and lack of change after an. Earlier warning unfortunately.

Hopefully he plays at uw at some point. It’s a shame. Good talent.

Timing is strange. Hope it is something that he can get past if it’s truly a leave of absence.

From purely a basketball standpoint, I think he was the 3rd most likely of the new guys to make an impact this year the way it looked, so there’s time.
