I think you plug in RoCo for PJ, and you don’t have to change a thing on either side of the ball. That’s probably where we start, since we’re playing ok. Ultimately, i think Batum might have the most remaining life out of the Morris/RoCo/Batum PF pupu platter.

I think the main change you make here is in getting Harris back to the 4 and inserting Covington at the 3. Harris cannot play facing the basket and he's better when defended by bigger and slower players.

Idk I thought Harris was playing well in the new system. Getting duck ins , and overpowering smaller wings while getting to his spots. It doesn't matter who's guarding him hes not quick enough to take anyone off the dribble in the halfcourt.

I like the idea of Cov guarding closer to the rim because he's more disruptive with his wingspan and can offer Embiid a little more help defending the rim. Offensively Cov can just replace PJ in the corner as a stretch 4 with hopefully better cutting ability.

For the most part they will probably be interchangeable.

Now we will see who will get Pj’s minutes. Im guessing its gonna be Roco but there’s also a good chance that it might be Batum.

I’d love to see this lineup:

Maxey
Covington
Oubre
Batum
Embiid

Why? Two wings with Embiid, Maxey as the scorer and Batum as the link guy. I think Batum is the good one here, he can be our Diaw through his passing chops to the big oaf. Some of our main issues is that we suck arse on even basic entry passes, now there’s a guy who can definitely do link plays between Embiid and Maxey. Oubre and Covington because they always have zero conscious when shooting good or bad which is good for us lol

I'm not a fan of Oubre starting with an already weak scoring bench. I guess you can split the lineups up when the reserves come in.
I can't see how an all bench lineup would work.

Batum and Covington provide blocks and threes so they'll get first crack at starting.

I want them to throw Martin in there, though. I know he can't shoot yet, but he's so damn athletic and explosive. With all the backdoor cuts Nurse has dialed up for guys like Oubre and Harris, Martin can REALLY thrive on those plays.

Sixers **** the bed on Jrue Holiday.

They traded Harden for a couple of late first round picks and a bucket of trash to stay on the treadmill. I think they could have got Jrue for the Harden package and another first.
With Jrue they would be a contender - perfect player next to Maxey and Embiid. Instead it's another wasted season and trade Embiid next year and start the process again.

Just asking. But why not have Tobi in the place of Oubre on that 5, it will be more balanced with Tobi’s more capable on offense?

Maxey
Tobi
Roco
Batum
Embiid

We’re gonna get someone better than Jrue with the picks we got from Harden.

We’re not winning it with Jrue, because there’s a big hole at the 4 position.

Probably should have traded him for Shaq back in 2004 imo

I think Jrue is a bit overrated. He´s a great defender, but his offensive numbers, in the last 2 playoffs, were abysmal.

Thanks for you're contribution. I really like the bit how you made a stupid statement and added nothing to the conversation. Well done champ.

By your criteria, it would be a wasted season with Jrue too. He's not who you think he is.

Jrue is a very good player on both ends of the floor. Take the blinkers off - Sixers missed a big opportunity and are wasting another year.

Why would the Blazers want Harden?? :-?

Also, from where would the 3 picks and the swap to do that deal come?
